Dunno, I guess Ill put a little rant here about HS. It's kinda stressing me out tbh, I always thought high school would be fun and movie-like but it always seem like the same thing over and over again for a few years straight: Go to school, work, friends, go home, study, go to school, get bad grade. Its just a little bs sometimes.. Anyway, how was everyone's high school experience? and also, any advice? Schools a sucker punch to me right now >.<

I just finished the 2nd year of college, here's my advice.

Find a college you want to get into, look into what kind of grades they accept and then try to follow those guidelines. Don't overwork yourself and make sure you spend equal amounts of time with friend and studying. Go to sleep early, it helps you focus easier in morning classes. Try not to speak with other students during class, since if you just listen to what the teacher says, you rarely have to study, which gives you A LOT more free time. Started doing that in college and I barely have to study and I finish some classes with higher merit. This gives me more time to socialize and PARTEEEYYYY.

Honestly HS sucked pretty bad for me, but I got some of my best friends from there, so just make sure that you prioritize the things you think are important. It might be repetative, but you will soon realize that those years flew by incredibly fast.

    Good luck!

    Upcoming college sophomore here!

I agree with a lot of points Bakari has. I also want to mention that if AP classes are offered at your school, you should definitely try and have a go at them! Because of the college credits I got, I ended up being a semester ahead and I got to skip some gen ed courses like US History and English 101. It definitely made my first year in college a lot easier. I know I struggled a lot with math and if you're like me, a website I recommend would be Khan Academy. Literally was the reason why I passed my math courses tbh.

My high school experience was alright. It wasn't the best, but it also wasn't the worst. It will seem extremely tedious and repetitive, but honestly those 4 years will fly by so fast. I really do mean it when I say to cherish those 4 years, join clubs or do extra-curricular activities. Your high school experience is what you make of it!

HEY! i can relate to that when i was a kid , first day of school/education.
Life can be boring along the way and stressful. It's normal to have ups and downs in life. Since i've graduated and in 1st year of college now, i can tryyy to give a little tip.
i recommend you to make yourself a schedule of having fun and study .
Studying for 1 - 2 hours daily won't hurt. learning can be easy but remembering stuff is hard. you just need to get used to it with the subjects. if your friend is distracting you in class, you can always change your seat. ask your teacher. I'm not saying you should break up friendship but ya know what i mean. stay focus in class.
when it's time to play, then play.

This is not about passing. this is about learning. :)
