is your maple character a hero or a villain? Or do they align themselves with no faction? (just curious)
It's a Solo for my character, fam. Although he once aspired to be a hero, his failings in both skill & as a person ultimately proved him to be a burden to everyone and decided to be alone.
My characters try to stay True Neutral, but they will never ignore a call to arms from the forces of good in times of urgency.
Woah that is interesting...looks like sometimes solo is the best way forwards for some and at least when the only back you have to watch is your own it makes things allot easier Tch, the forces of good is totally overrated Pal!...but i respect your decisions.
Chaotic neutral. My character likes doing whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He just operates on his own terms.
I'd say.... Anti-Hero. He doesn't really trust people but he'd side with heroes as long as hes getting paid.
While he would never brand himself as one, Niv's actions canonically are very much those of a "Hero" he enjoys helping people and if he can prevent a tragedy he will do so without hesitation. be it improving a persons equipment to better help them survive their next adventure. or going out into the field and saving someone in need.
Craig (My character) is definitely a hero. Not a very good one, but definitely a hero. At least he tries to help people.
while i have a lot, and i mean A LOT of characters, i only treat a few as main characters. most notably Munashaun, the first character i created. she basically works solo and kills anyone who gets in her way of her mission....even though she doesn't even know what it is herself.
My characters are deeper than to have a black and white moral alignment. After all, one mans hero is another mans villain. Ramedi definitely kills more than saving lives and when he saves anyone, then it is out of personal interest. Aconita is lawful to her clans morals, but as a foreigner that doesn't mean she will follow any other laws. Dorada is kind of a nerd, so she does pretend to be a heroine like in the fables but that's more a weakness than an alignment. Harissa is heavily brain damaged. She is almost only driven by curiosity. Which means she can easily be curious how the burned flesh of an infant smells like. Motok is a dictator, hero to his folk, villain to the rest of the world.
