I had a lot of fun making this and it's something I've wanted to make for a while now but never quite had the time. I'm happy I was finally able to bring it to life. (Also are drawn animations allowed for MBR demos?)
Haven't in a while, but I'm about to begin animating sprites again because I feel like it's something that I shouldn't just give up on, ya know? Gotta come back to it.
Love the DBZ style references, including the blue power-up xD Also kinda meaningful in regard to fighting your past self! Regarding drawing animations in MBR demos, my answer is yes, and I've always liked how you've already included unique transitions between hand-drawn and Maple sprites before. If someone else in staff bats an eye about it, let me know and I'll talk with em.
man i missed looking at animations on this forum.. good shit. I thoroughly enjoyed the references, especially the quick power up.
