Yes, I know that it's the thought that counts = w=, but it's the time of giving, and I just figured, since Christmas is just around the corner, it'd be a fun topic~! What's the best gift you've ever given and what's the best gift you've ever received? Christmas, birthday, Valentines Day, etc. Any occasion! I like to give practical gifts, so I think the two best gifts I ever gave was for my dad and for my friend who I went to college with for Christmas. I got my dad these work gloves (no, not the ones from Maple Island) to protect his hands from work, and seeing him wear them every day makes me happy >w<. For my friend, I painted him the cat picture from default Neko Atsume room and he liked it so much, he used it to decorate his room for his vlogs~ Now every time I see a new update from him, I see my painting xD Besides the gift of birth from my parents xD, I think the best gift I ever received was for Christmas from my sister, who got me this light pink folder that has paper (lined and spreadsheet) and writing utensils, for me to take to meetings and take notes with. Whenever I use it, I just get reminded of her support and it makes me happy inside... ALSO PINKKK YEAH So what's yours? c:

Hmm the best gift I’ve ever given someone was this mason jar replica of his favorite vacation place! It was tough since my hand was too big for the jar so I had to use a lot of tools. But I put a mini him in there, a bunch of sand, small palm trees, and a yacht. The best I’ve ever received was on my 17th birthday. I don’t really like cake, so word got out I liked apple pie. But nobody coordinated who would give me the pie. So everyone got me a pie. So I had 19 apple pies to go through in the month of June.

Best gift given: I gave Caleb like all of my DS games because I've beaten them all. He was very pleased! I also gave a friend a french fry pillow and he really liked it, so that was cool too. Best gift received: Artistic talent by the good lord above. (Thanks, GOD) and ALSO, a hoodie I got for my birthday like a month ago. It is a very nice hoodie and I needed a new one.
Best gift received: A ring necklace given to me by someone I befriended online who played an important role in my life. Though she isn't as involved in my life anymore, it still brings me comfort as I wear it everyday! I like to see it as a symbol of the friends I've made online. Though they aren't near me physically, they're always near my heart (cliche cause the necklace rests near my heart). Best gift given: A gift I've given to some of my closest friends that I befriended online. It was a mason jar filled with notes. On each note, I wrote what I loved about them, why I appreciated them, and encouraging words. Attached to it was a hand written letter that said to open the jar and pick read a note whenever they felt down!
