Hello Maplemation, I am getting into Maple animations, because I recently got back into Maplestory and I felt like I should jump into an active community. I heard Maplemation was quite the active community back then, so I hope it is still thriving! Like I previously stated, I am getting into animations and I just began spriting my own character. Very difficult, but I am doing my best! I do not really know what else to say really. I am a college student looking to major in Business Administration and Management and I do photography on the side. I hope we could be really good friends! See you around!
Heyoo, Welcome to the forum! Since you're interested in animating, what kind of animations would you like to do? Most users here typically use adobe flash to create sprite animation, but there's other options like fireworks and sony vegas for different kinds of animations. For beginner flash animations, you can check out Derek's (Spritefan2) animation tutorials Create your character here on maplestory,design (check out their discord too if you have any questions or concerns or just hit me up too) for some resources we bumped it down to 15 posts (don't worry about the 100 post thing, that's old) but there's a google drive for some resources too! I think you should check out almost all of the pinned posts in the tutorials section, especially this one. Be sure to ask if you have any questions, too! Hello Noz, I know I am late to replying to the message and you have done an amazing job introducing me to the world of animating. I will work my best to learn the basics of animating and hopefully be able to pick up tips and tricks on how to make a great animation! I will begin taking a look at all of these things you have given me (Although, I have already made a custom character already), thank you for showing me maplestory.design. I used to use BannedStory a lot, but I am glad someone was able to code a similar version for our benefits. I have taken the liberty of checking out the google drive for resources and it helped me out a ton! Hello Kim, thank you for giving me a warm welcome!
