    1. What is your best work? Post as many animations as you need.
There are a couple of private animations still unreleased and or in the works that I unfortunately cannot share at this current time. Those who advised me to apply for the position know the works and can evaluate me on those as well.

    2. Why do you want this position?
It's been little over a year since I've come back to the animation scene and I would like to revitalize the MapleMation community as much as possible. I've noticed a considerable dearth in forum activity since I last left. With my resurgence back into animating as well as being active on the forum, I'd like to play a part in helping the forum grow and increase activity all around.

    3. What makes you worthy to be in this position?
I believe that I've been able to improve at a rapid rate ever since coming back to the community. With Maple Rushed 6 over, seeing what I was able to make in 48 hours gave me the confidence and push to apply for the Animation Team position. I think that I will be able to keep improving and striving to make better animations and push past my limits.

    4. What are your goals in this team?
One of my primary goals for Animation Team is to start up a "Animation Review" section in the forum somewhere. Somewhere neophyte animators can come to receive direct CnC from me. By sending me .flas of their solo projects or their MBRs, I can record myself going through the fla and noting on specific things that he/she could improve on.
This is an example of what I would like to start implementing. This way animators can have a more direct 1-1 feel on receiving CnC instead of just receiving through text/pictures. This will help new animators improve at a faster rate, and help create a more healthy environment for animators who feel like they're receiving no help at all. Other goals could be to help the Animation Team leader (Kayas), organize more collab and forum events, for the community to take part in.

    5. Do you have anything else to add?

Heyo Min! Glad that you wanted to apply for the animation team! When I first saw your animations, I was appealed by your style and pacing. It was definitely eye-catching. Anyways, time for the good ol review.

    Basics:
You have a very strong understanding of how sprites move in general As I'm watching your VOD review with Grace's MBR, you're capable of noticing small details to touch up on and even come up with a better solution. As for your animations, while they can be incredibly fast, all the scenes and movements are very clear.

    Advanced/Cinematics:
Similar to Kayas, I find your camera work to be very immersive, avoiding any boring still shots, making seamless transitions between the 2d and 3d shots, and so forth. In your animation of Ness vs. Sans, I believe that's where your camera transitions and general use of your camera shines the most. The general pacing was fast and the camera angles kept changing, keeping the fight immersive. As I stated earlier, your style is rather fast paced, but at the clear enough for us to understand what happens and flashy enough to keep us all interested.

    Animation Team Application Replies:

Having a plan to revitalize the Maplemation community is great! While I wasn't there when you first left, (or at least, I think I wasn't), I'd like to believe it was fairly more active than now, and having that as your motivation is good.

The first animation I saw you make was the unfinished Smash Pig Part. Using that as the base, you’ve definitely improved immensely, especially after seeing your performance in Maple Rushed 6. Even before that, I think just seeing your Smash Wall Collab 2018 part is enough to show that you've improved quite a lot.

This reminds me of when I used to play Competitive TF2. People would just watch replays of themselves, and others would keep giving options of why/what else can be done which would help produce a better outcome. I think this is a splendid idea, and I wholeheartedly support it.

When I was in Elementary School, I microwaved an egg to make it warmer. It exploded. That also broke my family microwave. It wasn't a pleasant day.

Final verdict, yeh, I think that you're fit for the Animation Team! Welcome to the club!
