Yeah, I think the animation is lengthy enough to be posted in the section.

How do you feel about sprite animation? I see that you animate drawn/stick animations from the few videos you have on your youtube.

Yup, I've been doing animation for quite a while now. I think IT IS SO MUCH FUN. I'll be freaking honest, it is really easy to produce, and I think it is sustainable!

    That's great to hear!
I would like to say, going from drawn animations, where you can animate the smooth aspect of the animation itself on the spot, to a sprite animation style is sort of a weird transition. We have had a few drawn animators on our forum that transitioned really nicely and I'm sure you could as well.

The skewing/resizing style you used in your animation was a tiny bit excessive. If the skews were a eased and a bit more subtle, it would look better. Since sprite style is a bit different than drawn style, I would recommend looking into the tutorial section to learn a bit more about sprite skewing/resizing. You could skip most of the basics since you've already grasped that concept.

Innovation. I like the two-handed sword stance. Nicely executed. What fps is this?

I almost like the super absurd squish/stretch/skew, It's a little refreshing. But good start, can't wait to see more.

I always love seeing the way stick animators approach Maple. This was certainly no exception.
Already you seem to be familiar with how fluidity and physics work. I'd just be careful with making them look too squishy during things like the landing strike. Tone down the resizing and skewing a tad, and you should be all good.
But hey, nice stuff for a first! Keep giving things a try, like give him a weapon and/or things to hit

But keep at it, my dude. Would be great to see more from you down the road
