It let me focus on other areas such as the origins of cyborgs, world building, density in cities and character interactions. I had a lot of fun and even though circumstances fucked you over, I'm glad I got to do this MBR so thanks Min for giving me the motivation to get it going in the first place and for actually giving it as much as you could despite your real-life circumstances ultimately fucking you over. Several real-life hurdles pummeled me before I could reach the finish line for this project. This was a project I’ve wanted to work on for so long even before it became an MBR. I want to apologize to Kayas for my shoddy-end of not being able to finish on time. That being said, I am still dedicated to getting this finished and released out to the public, so while this MBR ended in a fiasco for me, I will see it through to the end in the foreseeable future. Sorry for those who were expecting much more. We ultimately posted this on the 26th due to it being uploaded too late into the 24th (slow upload speed, sorry) and some christmas hijinx. Also because this was a forfeited MBR on Min's side, I get the automatic W, so no voting needed for this one. Also since season 1 has officially ended, you all must be wondering when season 2 comes out and what can you do with this thread? Man I takes a lot of time to analyze this storyline but I put it through, you made The timeline paradox a scary and unexpected things, try to timeline alternate will be a sadly mistake but not all of it is a mistake with the person who start all the organizations, mistake can be helpful. I really enjoyed this animation if I go toe to toe with a soldier they will be suprised how I'm capable of. The last scene gives me dark and vengeful spirits. Min- You will finish you MBR, you just have be patience and don't rush alot, we will wait for it even it takes decades
Very very nice work Kayas! I love the 3D tiles on the Futuristic city along with the parrallax usage when going through the changing timeline in the beginning. Although some nitpicks would be around 6:45, the Fountain is moving a little too fast in water spouting, the clipboard on 6:56 looks very large, making it look like it is on the left of Nina's side than the center of her person(I guess it shows Natasha's more embarassed side to not notice). On 7:15, Nina's head was briefly shown before disappearing, and finally around 7:30, there doesn't seem to be parrallax on the map, which I assume is because it was pressed for time. Overall, I love the story behind this on time travel and these pressing questions of whether it creates alternate timelines and being changeable in one loop. I definitely hope to see more from our bae Cyborg Nina and the awesome world of the future~ <3
Hello JPG, Congrats for making it on time for the season finale. I'm not really that good with my words so prepare for some terrible grammar. TBH, watching this whole animation I got one vibe from the whole 8 minutes of content you created. Rushed. Compared to your last MBR Kayas Vs Drew, the product you made felt really half baked with neat ideas but execution was pretty faulty. 0:00-0:19 The camera shake was way too intense for the type of vibe you were giving off. Felt like the cameraman was drunk or something lol. I would have suggested a little bit more soft like just panning to the right and left with slight camera shakes. 0:20 Nice 3D panning shot! Only thing i have problems with is the annoying filter you put on it, I could barely see the people in the town or the landmarks you put on the map. It confuses me why you would so much effort into making a map like that and then hiding all of the details with that really strong blue tint you added. 0:39-0:41 Why... I can understand trying to keep someone's identity a secret. But this just looks ugly and it really stands out. Just showing the arm itself I feel wouldn’t really show who the guys identity is. 1:15 The zoom out shot was pretty cool. I thought that was simple but things never really need to be too flashy. You don’t need to just hide nice shots with crazy tints and filters something like this shot works perfectly on its own. So good job on that man! 3:05 Nice drawing, but what was the point of having a static drawing? I feel like having them animated freaking out and scared of what they just saw would leave a better impact then just one drawing panning. Now I can keep on going and going about the reasons why (imo) this animation felt very rushed… Bu, unlike your Drew vs Kayas animation, I really just got bored. Like I had to force myself to finish watching all of this. Again the ideas are nice but I really think you are just shoving way too much information for the audience to handle. Other problems in the animation are I can’t even see what’s happening half the time. It’s either it’s too blurry, too zoomed in, or both! I can understand having your camera really zoomed in. I’m the same way with that with my animations, but the difference is I don’t add black bars (the border) to my animation. I can understand wanting the feeling of having a “cinematic type animation” but your cutting off about 30-40% of your animation with black bars. Imo, I would just get rid of them and add a glow type effect on your text so it stands out from the background. So yea all together, with this animation... nice ideas. Sometimes nice visuals but terrible execution. Inconsistent pixel quality and the worst crime you could ever have with an animation being Boring. Compared to your Kayas vs Drew this one was just a downgrade. Maybe now I can understand why you need long due dates cause this all just felt really rushed. Min’s CNC: Nigga.
