Spoiler Notes: I really liked how this turned out! I really wanted to edit or fix a few things, but before I knew it, time was up. I could've used the automatic week extension but changing stuff made it look worse. So I'm happy with what I ended up with. Also, I'm happy that Daren recovered. Getting a cold is no joke.
DarenDevil gets my vote. Reason - he did amazing job of the background,the character design is put into the top, has a beautiful color, bright art style and spectacular magie card part.
My vote goes to Daren. A lot more things are going on with Daren's piece, which made it more interesting in comparison to Johannaling's piece, which only had one character in midst of the sky. Johannaling: I like how basic it is but I feel like the plane should be in the background and one or so people could've been part of the skydiving to make the piece more lively. With that being said in short word, try to think logically with the piece with questions like. "Why is he/she there, what is their purpose. how does he/she get itself in that situation? What's going on in the background?" Other than that, hope to see ya improving more in that regard :^), you can dm me or ask art MM server/channel for any suggestion and cnc! Very nice work, you two! Daren's artwork is stunning as always! Although thematically, it looks as if he's jumping down a cave than skydiving, however, I do love the beautiful background that looks like Daren's descent into hellish madness, so very excellent use of the core theme of character development. :) Scarlet's entry definitely does a straight use of the skydiving thematic theme, I love your character's expression of joy as they skydive downwards, however, it would be alot better if you added a little more to it, such as more background that tell who your character is, like maybe a town, buildings, or other people jumping off with you. Overall, I choose Daren's entry, although personally it didn't really follow the skydiving theme imo, it really excels in the character development core theme. Great job, and keep on rocking! <3

There's something charming about the simple expression and high-key lighting in Scarlet's. Still, I have to give it to Daren for immaculate detail and an interesting dark, yet abstract take for 'vacation' skydiving xD Great work both of you! Clearly different trains of thought, but well done nevertheless
