    1. Who are you? How did you become active in this media? Why? When? Who taught you? Tell us your story around this media.

Heya! The name's Drew. A sprite animator since 2014, spriter since 2017. My fixation for this media all started in the wake of Bannedstory 4's unfortunate shutdown. Being a hungry Maple animator in the midst of a drought, it occurred to me that being able to sprite can be a huge help to me when resources are scarce.

Which built up into things like a magnet, a shovel, a baseball, and other simple things to help get on my feet. It wasn't until Maple Pink Collab that I took a shot at spriting myself things to use within animations. That first honor going to this pink shark below:

But away from all this outdated stuff here, I grew to love spiriting ever since, and started doing to more and more. Bannedstory 4's shutdown was almost like a wakeup call, you could say. As time went by, I joined many different events centered around spriting, such as the 2017 Halloween Event, the 100 Weapons Collab, the Last Spriter Standing collab, and many other non-MM events. Come 2020, here I am now before you, with the hopes I can be apart of something bigger and use my interests to open up more possibilities for myself as well as others.

    2. Tell us anything we need to know about your future behavior in the team. Why do you want this position? What are your plans to improve the team? How dedicated are you?

To go off my previous point, my inclusion in the Sprite Team could not only be beneficial to my own development, but I want to help make a difference to us all. Every spriting event we've had thus far in the previous few years are proof that we can all come together and use this medium to put together memorable moments here on this forum. I want to bring that back. This way, we as a team, can engage with and help guide those who may want to learn pixel art as well, or just give it a shot for the fun of it. We can all grow together this way, and that sounds like a sweet deal to me.

    3. Show us 5-10 of your best work. Don't come with 5 weapons or 5 templates only. The more variation, the higher your chances.

You've improved immensely from the time that we started the Last Spriter Standing event to now. Even just during the days you participated in the event, I can see there was a lot of experimentation and growth. Having seen the recent work you've done, you take everything you do seriously. You're not afraid to push yourself beyond your comfort zone.

The biggest takeaway, from not only your application but from interacting with you, is you do your best and you don't just stop at doing your best. You always want to do better, bigger things. Not only do you try to improve on your own skills, you give insightful CnC to others who may want to improve as well.

Without a doubt, you're an excellent member to be a part of the Sprite Team. Welcome to the team, my dude.
