why the no? image dumps are much more useful. with sprite sheets you keep having to cut and export sprites.
all you do when using image dumps is import them

also, with sprite sheet i mean: single image with lots of frames

image dump: each frame is a separate image.

yes, a lot of people erroneously use the term sprite sheet when they actually mean image dump. a sprite sheet is exactly what it says on the tin: a huge sheet containing sprites. if it's a folder or a fla with a lot of images, it isn't a sprite sheet. simple.

all those people who make "sprite sheet" FLAs should know better. smh
