skype has been messing up for everyone recently

the problem with a lot of things like that is that no one really uses anything else but skype. so it's awful trying to get people to use other stuff, especially *just* because you don't like it/can't use it

You could try an older version, it it'll let you install it without updating automatically that is.

i was already on a old version. maybe it's some other thing that's messing with it - my pc is really not much better than a toaster

it crashes when i try opening it. it opened once but couldn't login. there's some corrupted files in its folder, which is probably connected to the fact that this current HDD i use is with its problems

i could probably try pushing it more and see if it still works but honestly i don't even care - it's skype. it's garbage lol
