Remember that one time where I wanted you to made a plug-in where we could have a swf open on the side while you're working in a library? I'd love for that to be a thing. You click a button and there, its open. And you can close it easily. WIth minimal lagg too.
I wish the Library had an alternative "full" view for more advanced tasks (or bitmap command execution at this rate), with better organization/management in mind. I also wished that the infamous Bone Tool was ACTUALLY useful... however, for FbF there's http://www.trickorscript.com/p_BP.php (not that I know anyone who has actually reviewed it.)
@Zack: i don't _exactly_ remember that, you'd have to explain a little better what you mean there. you mean something like what AE has on one side and on the other you have a normal edit-time flash display? @Ainn: there's some stuff i'd do to the library, but you don't specify what you'd like to have in that "full" view. if you could clarify that, it would be great.
@Hunter: "More convenient editing options" is too broad. also, flash overtaking fireworks...timeline features? if that would do what i think it would do, i just disagree with that completely, since fireworks SUCKS (!!) at animation, at least way more than flash does. i'd completely hate it to be that way if it's what i think it is.
then again i don't know. you're being too vague.
Well I mean, Photoshop cs6 has two option of having a frames or time line. That's what I was refering to. I honestly prefer to edit in one frame rather than several different layers myself.
@Hunter: yeah, i have no idea what you mean there since i don't use PSCS6 or any of its animation features. once i create a thread for this i guess we can talk about this better. in the mean time i'll make a note to explore that a bit, but i'll just go on a limb and guess that that's gonna be useless. but i actually don't know.
@LeoV Yes that is exactly what I mean. It would be very handy if you could see what is seen inside a v-cam, yaknow? And see yourself put things onto the scene and all that.
What I was refering to Photoshop's timeline and frame system was...
Timeline = http://prntscr.com/7mlmj5
Frames = http://prntscr.com/7mlmq3
Both ways is pretty useful but I prefer the frame system than the timeline on PS similar to Flash.
oh, they added an actual timeline to photoshop?? awesome. maybe it finally doesn't suck horribly. also for the record hunter, i just hate the frame stuff. i think that an animation program should COMPLETELY separate out frames from layers, because you can have things like multiple layers in a single frame, which gets ugly if you make it look like that.
