Hey guys it's been awhile since I posted anything on here. Been busy with my art classes, especially Graphic Design. Since I'm done with finals I decided to post a few of my projects on here. The other projects I can't upload due to it being more than 5-10 MB...lol. I might post more or make some more if I feel like it. So if you feel like check them out feel free to take a look!

EDIT: Ok I upload my work from Adobe Indesign to publish it online and provided a link. Also my other work I put up on my Deviant art Stash, which I also link as well. If you have any problem viewing it let me know!

Sorry for my late reply to this, but I'm very impressed with the majority of your work here! Some of them seem like something a college level student would make.

    Lucinda Magazine:
I like the layout you've done, try are pieced together without any odd ends over it on every page. On the Works Cited though, the green background doesn't seem to harmonize well with the black text, so you might wanna change the text to white or invert the background to white. Also, the text is much too close to the background rectangle's edge, keep in mind of consistent margins.

    The Grid:
Although not a fan of the fonts you chose for the posters, I very much find the utilized shapes and backgrounds very dynamic and grabs the reader's attention in a generic sense of color and gridding. Decent job on it.

    Manga Mag art:
    No no no. Bad. >:[
The purple title text clashes with the dark real background for attention, making it hard to read what it says, and on top of it all, the art is much brighter than the title where you want people to see the title first. So you need to make the title brighter(IMO, it should be white). The
Hairstyle subtext seem a little "intrusive" on the hair's shading, where you want it to fit inside the negative space in the hair. Overall, the font on the subtexts just feels boring to me, so I recommend using a more curved or fitting font like Anime Ace 2.0 and such.

    Thien Anime Cafe Logo:
3 fonts in one sitting is a definite no-no. It should be one of the first rules of Typography, no more than 2 fonts at a time. However, I do like that the character is fitted with the wordmark together like a puzzle, however, I feel the character is a bit too complex for a logo. Remember thaat you want your clients to easily remember your logo.

    Thien Music Gaming Logo:
The Typography is decent here, but the dark green background color you chose seem very hard-to-see with your black logo. You can always invert the black and white in the logo for a better result.

    Thien Top Hat Tea Logo:
I like it, it's very memorable despite it being very generic and as it says on the tin, but you might want to close in on the space for "Thien" on the hat, and to open up the margins from the top and bottom of "Top Hat Tea".

You definitely have potential to become better, and I believe some reading up on color harmony should help you tons! Keep on practicing!

Thanks for the replied and critics!

Yes right now I'm taking major classes in graphic design and I have about a year and a half to go until I graduated. Lucida Magazine project, the grid, and logo design are from graphic design 1 (still have 2-5 to go), which is all about typography and it's new to me when using typography and turns out to be very fun to learn! Manga Magazine and the drawing is from a lower division class, that is only meant to fit on using indesign and using photoshop and illustrators on a basic level so yeah I know it was bad lol, but I really like the critic you gave me about it!

I have another project from another different class, but the files are about 30mb. They are mostly blood effects and other effects that I've made for making a prototype of a video game my team was working on with After Effects.

Can't wait for your critics on the logo designs and that one drawing!
