Hey guys, for those of you who don't know me I used to be an animator here around 5-6 years ago...
I'm trying to get back to what I used to be but it seems animating is harder than I remembered.
the whole point of the post is to get some cnc to improve so go ahead.
if anyone has some resources they can share that would be really nice too :].

Be careful about triangle jumps, though for some people it's their thing (cough). If you want to avoid triangle jumps, check this tutorial out.

If i were you, personally, i'd place this animation on this thread since it's so short http://maplemation.com/threads/the-dumpster-post-your-tests-and-super-short-anims-here.31217/ Instead of making it it's own thread.
But yea i'd watch the physics there. You always wanna make your jumps more arched rather than a straight line up and down. (In triangle form, but you know what i mean).
Just keep doing these, man. It takes practice to the the realism of it down. Even go back and revisit Derek's tutorials if you want. But you'll get the idea.

Oh and also you're welcome, LOL

oh my god old school as fuck reminds me of bsbg days with your toga wearing/avatar character and stuff (also i hope you like the new version of you know what nudge nudge wink wink)

    3. Things i saw:

    upload_2016-5-12_20-4-37.png

    1. The head sprite is blurred and the rest of the bitmaps are not smoothened also what's up with that black block behind his head? You should download this script and click on it every once in a while when you import new sprites, it will smoothen everything at once.
    AllowSmothing.jsfl

    2. In your second update, the characters look a bit squished, that's because you adapted the v-cam manually, i know it's possible to adjust it and have it stay at your canvas size without squishing your character but sadly i don't know how to do it, but i think you should erase the v-cam in the timeline and do the work again, this time if you want to zoom in/out hold shift, it will make everything keep its size correctly.

    3. The black bars are not touching the screen, double click your v-cam, create a new layer and make the black bars inside there, make sure this layer is either a the top or the bottom of its timeline, results may vary so see what works for you.
