--- THE RULES OF MBR ------
1. Do not present your work publicly in this forum until the opening of your MBR thread.
We do not care if you do it on another forum. If they see it, it is not our problem.
2. Please stay on deadline, not making it in time will mean an auto forfeit.
3. The polls will remain open for 24 hours before the closing and handing out of rewards and stats.
4. Your vote will be excluded out of the poll if you have a stupid, invalid, and opinionated reason.
Ex.: You are voting for friend purposes only, or your doing it to piss off the other opponent/don't want the other opponent to win
This includes in "No Challenge" matches, by just saying the opponents name, then vote, just give a simple reason to add on to it. Just say it was pretty good, nothing big
.
5. All challenges must have a deadline with an ACTUAL DATE. If you guys say "No deadline," a Moderator will make the deadline for you and you probably won't like the deadline depending on what you guys do.
6. Do not use an old animation/edit from an old animation/sprite for an MBR match. It must be a completely new animating/sprite document.
7. Forfeits will result in a one point deduction. If you do not have any points, then you will be banned.
8. You are not allowed to re-make your MBR profile under any circumstance. If you wish to redo your MBR profile simply redo the original post.
Deletion/Unauthorized edits of MBR battle history will result in a permanent ban from MBR.

--- BATTLE THREAD ------
PLEASE use this format when posting your MBR battle thread and completed work:

Theme of the MBR:

Your Animation/Sprite/Comic/Map:
Your notes*:
A link to your MBR profile:
---
Your Opponent's Animation/Sprite/Comic/Map:
Their notes*:
A link to their MBR profile:
* = Optional.
The links (both to related media as well as profile) and theme of the MBR is important. If they are not posted, the following consequences will happen:
1st offense: Verbal warning reminding you to post it on the MBR Thread as well a PM to the Thread Starter.
2nd offense: A Moderator locks the thread, and wait till either your opponent or yourself have PM that Moderator the links.

If you continue to make offenses, you will be banned from MBR.

--- WAGERING SYSTEM AND GIFT SYSTEM ------

Feel like you want more points than a point a challenge at a time? Then use the wager system! But be careful, when you wager, you're are wagering a certain amount of points greater than 1. This is how you wager:

When you challenge someone, type in bold "I wager points".
Also, when you wager, make sure they have enough points as you offer, THIS INCLUDES YOU AS WELL.

*Click here* to go to Maplemation's MBR Marketplace!

The Gifting System:
Just like in MapleStory, you can gift items and such to a friend of your choice!
• You may gift anyone, however it will be accessed by a moderator beforehand.

--- FACTIONS ------
Factions are (multi)media groups of talented members here at Maplemation. They are established to fight for the title as "Best Faction" amongst all opposing factions at Maplemation.

Faction Rules:
• The maximum allotted space in any faction is 10 members.
(You cannot expand after this number.)
• A default faction consists of 3 members + leader.
(Four in total.)
• Faction threads are required to have a Faction War history somewhere on the first page of their faction's page.
Multiple Medias:
There are some factions that may like to expand across multiple medias. Essentially, they will need to go over the ten limit restriction to do this. In order to do this, they will require a Division Licences*. Originally, the Faction License starts up a faction and essentially the media chosen by the buyer/owner/leader. With a Division License(s), a faction may unlock up to 3 other divisions (this includes the original license). A faction may open up a division in the following medias: Animation, Sprite, Art, Comic, Map.
* There are 4 other Division Licenses available for purchase at the Marketplace.

Regulations:

• A faction is allotted up to 3 divisions.
(This includes the original faction.)
• A faction is not allowed to have duplicates of a media in the faction.
• A Divisions Licenses can only be purchased from the marketplace by the Faction Leader.
• Each division is allotted a maximum of 10 members.
(Overall a faction at it's maximum divisions is allowed to have thirty members.)
• A new division starts off like a faction; 5 members + Leader (total of six).
• It can be expanded up to 10 members maximum.
*Hybrids*
There really is no compensation for you, unless the faction owner buys the required items.

--- Faction Wars ------
• To initiate a Faction War, the leader of that faction must post the challenge. If members of that faction issues a challenge, it will be revoked by a Moderator.
• Only faction leaders can accept incoming challenges, members of that faction cannot.
• All faction wars are required to have a reasonable due date.
There will be two extensions allotted for one faction war.
If it surpasses the two limit extensions, then the war will be canceled by a Moderator.
• The faction war should ONLY be hosted by a Moderator. You are required to PM a Moderator. If the Moderator gives permission to the leader of the faction to host it, then polls must be set for public viewing.
• Those who participated/are in the faction cannot vote on the war. If they do, their vote will be excluded.
• Faction War Points (FWPs) will be awarded based on how many battles occurred.
For example, if a War consisted of a 6 vs 6 in total of 12 people participating, then each individual battle would be considered a point. Therefore 6 points would be awarded.
• Original lines ups cannot be changed once the Faction War is initiated unless the faction owns a Cross-Over* ticket.
• Faction Wars can only consist of one media.
* There are 3 other Cross-Over tickets available for purchase at the Marketplace.
