Now that i've been growing up more and more, i start to get more responsibilities. Such as taking care of my little sister when only the 2 of us are home, working to make some money for myself, learning in order to get accepted for a college im going to next year and honestly. It kinda gives me a mature vibe off but i dont wanna grow up that fast, i still want to be able to enjoy my youth. Have you guys acknowledged the fact that you have been growing up?

Well, that's too bad. As harsh as sounds, this is what being an adult is.

You can still enjoy your youth in other ways, like pursuing a hobby like drawing or playing a nice card game with friends. You don't have to now dedicate yourself into the responsibilities of an adult, but you have to understand that you are also an adult now.

As bluntly as Smeagal put it, he’s right. That’s the process of growing up, and to be honest, while you do you have responsibilities and whatnot, aside from just having a little less time to be on my own, it’s not entirely different. I still have some time with my own hobbies, albeit a lot less time than before. Hell, I like acting like a 12 year old kid online with friends. However, the life of growing up and maturing as an adult still goes on, and that’s just what happens to everyone when time passes. Sooner or later, you’ll have to dedicate yourself to a full time job as a living in addition to showing formalities with outside people. I didn’t like it either when I graduated High School, but even if I don’t like it, it’s still something that I have to accept and move on. Others may be in denial, and proceed to act like a Middle schooler while in college, ignoring real responsibilities or just being an immature person to other. To me, that’s what differentiates those who really matured up as an adult, and someone who has a mind of a kid, but the body of an adult. Basically, you can still enjoy stuff in your life as a kid, but once enough time passes, or when something goes down, it’s going to be rough.

I did accept the fact that i am growing up. No doubt about it, its just kinda weird how i will be doing stuff i only dreamt of when i was younger such as driving a car next year and going into college. Its crazy how life flashes before your eyes, heh. At my age right now i have the goal of becoming a very good sprite animator or animator in general and tell you what, im chasing that goal.
