Fuck im tired.
Anyways if all goes as planned it might be released this weekend! MIGHT.
Hope this collab lives up to the hype, cant wait!
dis gon be gud
Lets put this into perspective:
THE LION KING WAS 1 HR 29 MINS
6+ hours of uploading then
I give up
R.I.P the Hageshii Sukiru Bash Collab
Death caused by Claims
[Insert Sad Face Here]
Why not just get non copyrighted songs off of non copyrighten audio hosters?
As long as it is non-profit you might be able to dispute this claim..
I did with this:
Of course I'm not too familiar with how copyright works. Also maple rushed used to be muted, but it isn't anymore so try and contact derek about this
Put it on Hyun's Dojo, where you won't get shitcanned by copyright policies.
I'd like it to be on my channel though. Since i've been working on it for two eyars I want people to know its... MINE. Yaknow?
Sigh, looks like I might need to. Thanks for the suggestion.
Just asked Derek about this. He responded with "I think its still muted". As we continued chatting our conversation didn't really help in the long run, since the type of copyright the credits song has is so bad I can't get around it. Pitch shifting included.
Yet as you can see in the screenshot the credits video by itself is perfectly fine.
What drives me even MORE up the wall is that the version I used was an English cover. Why does that have a copyright???
Wait did you get a claim from the actual company or the creator of the cover. I don't think companies are allowed to claim covers of their own products.
The Sony Music is what is halting me from the upload. And that is directed towards the gurren lagann music.
The other songs are stuff I can get by, there's just gonna be ads or something. I think its still happening because the instruments are from the original song..? I dont know.
song I used:
What you could do is upload a video telling your viewers to see it on Hyun's Dojo, then leave a link in the description.
And plus, it's not like the option to upload it to your channel is COMPLETELY impossible, that is if you have the energy to replace said songs with something else that won't get claimed. Of course that MIGHT disrupt the audio flow in the collab, but there may be hope:3
SME is bullshit when it comes to copyright.
I can only see 3 options
1. upload the video somewhere else
2. change the credit song to something else and reupload the thing.
3. File a diispute where you elaborate why it doesn't infringe any copyright, but it's also the most risky one.
Best case scenario: SME don't give and the video is not muted
Worst case scenario: The video gets taken down and you get a copyright strike
Edit: I should also mention that covers appeareantly are infringing on copyright, but companies don't mind since it's free ad for them. Though I'm only talking about the cover videos specifically. Not animations.
AHHHH EFF! I CANT TAKE THE SUSPENSE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
CHEEZUS CHRIST COPYRIGHT SHTUFF NEEDS TO STOP!
I WANNA SEE FOOKING HAGESHII!!!
Um... Considering that covers are taking an already copyrighted song and just replacing the vocals (usually without the consent of the copyright owner),yes. Companies CAN claim copyright infringement on covers.
Hyunsdojo it pls.
This is why MM should have its own video player system implemented.
Can I ask why they don't get scanned? If it's a method to work it around like them, it would be nice, but Youtube should not be having any exception.
I have no good suggestion for the problem. I just want to tell that I'd rather see the collab on Zack's channel than Dojo's.
Hmm.... Pitch change used to work :/ I did that for my Teddy anniversery video.... How about test to pitch the original version...? And btw, are there SFX going on behind the song? If so, shouldn't Youtube's scanning system not notice it? Im not sure how the system works, but how about this:
IF the system works by scanning the rendered file, how about try to convert your song together with the SFX in Audacity so it becomes one file, hoping that it can get by :/ Then render with that file. I'm not even sure if it sounds logical. Just desperately throwing some suggestion...... Argh....
It traces the audio sample from their library. Sapphire is propably having some shared ad revenue with sony for her cover (hence why they are the claimant)
