Personality and Traits
Amp is a creature governed by a sense of curiosity. Excluding the bare essentials of living importances and the like, Amp walks along the world learning things at every step. On their own, they’re not easily angered or even upset by many things, and most of the places they venture to are simply due to them wandering in places they’ve yet to understand.
Characteristics
Amp is a Spirit of Rock brought into existence by soul shards being combined twice over. They’re a bluish color to represent that, and don't have as many markings around their body as the usuals of their species. They’re also marginally smaller than their species origins, and lack a guitar of any kind. However, this was by virtue of the process towards their creation, as despite not having a guitar to project their powers, they’re more potent than that of their species, simply due to their creation methods.
Powers and Abilities
Spirits Of Rock are known for their ability to produce violent sound waves and bursts of darkness whenever they see fit. Amp is no different, as they can do so in a much more violent fashion, as without a guitar to project it through, the attacks they do are more widespread by nature, with a few attacks being the exception to that rule. Their destructive sound waves can reach as far as an entire metropolitan area, and tend to indiscriminately shred anything that cannot withstand the severity of the sound.
For reference, Spirits Of Rock are capable of doing the following:
- Form wings that spawn targeted dark lightning on activation
- Conjure speakers to amplify their own sound waves further
- Forge a barrier around them that converts all attacks to deal 1 Damage, to which the effect lingers a bit after the barrier dissipates
- Send out a high knockback induced spear of darkness
- Dark Tornadoes
- Summon Minions
That being said, the only things Amp cannot do is manually amplify their own sound waves further than they already can, and summon minions. Everything else is within his skillset, albeit less concentrated and destructive by nature. In addition to having dangerous offenses, Their body has the density of a certified microphone, causing them to be mostly unflinching in the damages they receive, no matter the strength of the move they got hit by.
It is imperative to one’s safety to use stuns in order to subdue them, but NOT blinding methods. This will enrage Amp further, and cause them to release soundwaves capable of leveling unprompted buildings out of aggression. In addition, Amp has an astute sense of awareness, as they can hear sounds coming from far away, and if they’re distinct, and detect that same sound even amongst other sounds that may be either louder or quieter than it.
It also may seem like they’re immortal, but the reality is that they have a LOT of HP, alongside an unlimited stamina pool due to their boss properties.
Style of Combat
Amp, like a traditional SoR, is strictly magic based. They have no application for CQC whatsoever, and should someone get close, a provocative shockwave will be ushered to re-establish distance. Due to their increased intelligence, they can be craftier than they look at times, and use their powers in unexpected ways.

- Simply by touching a music device, they can play whatever it was playing by opening its own mouth
- Amp’s noises consist of amplifiers, speakers, and microphones
- Amp’s aggressive noises consist of varied screeches and roars that may stem from other creatures
- Due to their classification as Mammals, they do in fact need food and the like. They currently have a fondness for the following:
- Fruity Yogurt
- Blossom Juice
- Fresh Strawberry Juice
- Big Cream Puff
- Dumpling
- They can understand human speech
- Sounds from music devices that Amp are near get 10% louder than they previously were, regardless of volume
