All I see is this
I've realized that I'm more motivated to work on collabs then series, after working on The Inverted Smash Collab for 2 months. I lost motivation for making Punch the Cliche and The Maple Dead after 2 months, and regret getting you guys excited for them, but not for the collab. So don't expect me to make anymore series, because they don't work out for me.
Song Used at the end:
. 16BIT Magic by BotanicSage [BS]
. Adobe Flash CS5
. Adobe After Effects CS5
. Bannedstory 4 (before it was taken down)

“Thanks for Watching”
Started with purely ice effect training, ended up in a mess with a broken pace.

DOOOOOD, I loved what i saw. The character designs were seriously on-point (please keep them, at least the character on the right). The fact only one of them was using a weapon made things immediately interesting to watch and the dodges and glows were both great touches.
Final verdict: THAT WAS DOPE
My first animation ever in flash, or any program ever, I guess :P
If anyone could give me some tips that would help loads...
shit i should've fixed the vcam...
Okay, I'm glad to see someone jumping into animation, so I'll give you some tips to start with!
Make sure the characters don't "flicker" in and out. When depicting something that your character is doing, (unless it's intentionally off-screen) be 100% sure all of your frames have your characters in them.
Give your characters some expressions during attacks, while taking damage, while defending, etc.
Make your attacks connect/touch the opponent! For example, at the final punch was set up, but the character that delivered the punch was already sitting there in their punch pose, and the character being hit didn't actually touch the fist! It ended up looking like THIS and didn't make sense.
This animation is lacking anticipation! Even if an attack is going to be very quick, it still needs SOME anticipation. Watch this video explaining about anticipation. It's fairly short, I think it explains anticipation VERY, VERY well. It even uses punching as an example!
You can make some test animations (or one slightly longer animation) to practice these tips. I really hope this helps you!
