Hey people! I'm making a series of drawings called "Philosophy of:" which aims to put the key ideas of a philosopher into a a single drawing This time is: "Philosophy of: Friedrich Nietzsche" English version: Spoiler Spanish Version: Spoiler Any CnC is welcomed
I really enjoy the shading that you've got going on, however, the shading on the handcuff on the right, or on his left arm, looks a bit awkward. Pretty hard to see the outline of the body (at least the right side, or his left) cuz of the color choice, but it's nothing too bad. His ear is also a bit low. Normally, ears should lie between the top of the eyebrows and the bottom of the nose...depending on the ear anyway. But it looks appealing. Could use a bit more energy and gesture to show why the shirt is bursting open to reveal his identity. There's my two cents, hope it helps :)
Is this for a class? O: I think it would be really interesting and a fun challenge if you could express this without any words in the background.
It's not for class, I like philosophy and decided to make drawings inspired on that. :) I may try the challenge but it would make harder the task of expressing his thoughts.
