Accepting the Invite to MapleMation on Discord

It keeps saying I need an application to open the URL discord invite in order to join MapleMation on Discord. What application do I need.

If it's on the phone, then yeah you need to download the Discord app from some app store of sorts.
If it's on the computer, I think you mean something like telling an admin of sorts in the waiting_room(?) (Idk if this still exists) who you are from Maplemation.

I looked at the rules and it said to tell me who I am in the forums. But where in the forums do i tell them who I am on Discord?

I'm 90% sure when you launch Discord on a computer, you're either put in the waiting room of Maplemation, or the chatroom. Just tell what your Name is in the Discord room.
