Anthony Munoz

So for as long as I've been an animator I always had this character but never had an official story to him.
I even changed his name, powers and story every so often. It was only till recently that I gave him the story of a boy who crossed worlds but even then it was just a small thing. His powers and skill weren't official either. He went from being a cyborg created in a lab to just a guy with telekinetic powers and a berserk mode. Now, his story and powers are official set.

Strengths and Weakness as a Person
Not good at studying, dropped out of school.
Procrastinator
Bad at spelling but loves to write stories
Prefers to be 2nd in command but does just as well as leader.
Not quick to anger, usually chill.
Becomes unstable when angry.
Get's along with others easily.
Often times awkward.
Lazy. but does his jobs above standard when he works.
Gets lonely pretty easy.
Mental state is eh
At times, Good at motivating others
Doesn't get stressed or depressed easy but stress and depression is at high when he does.
Clingy and has abandonment issues

Strengths and Weakness in Combat
God/Human
He has every power you can imagine and can use it in many different ways.
However, He's weak like a average human and can be killed pretty easy. (Shot to the heart, head, blood loss, shock, etc)
The more pain he's in or closer to death he is, the stronger his power gets.
Anthony doesn't have a high pain tolerance or enjoys harming himself. He prefers not to use his power unless necessary.
His powers will not activate unless he is damaged. Either someone else must harm him or he must harm himself.
He'll either cut his hand for a standard boost in power or Stab his hand for a more powerful charge.
If he needs more power he'll think of something else.
If in a Team, he likes to play support, boost party members stats and heal.
If solo, prefers not to use his power.
Is not trained in martial arts or boxing, knows basic street brawling.
Is slightly skilled in shooting and sword play.
Prefers to use guns and knifes.

Pain and dying RANK reference
Rank1: Hurting | Minor cuts and wounds | Skill is activated but at low power
Rank2: In pain | Major Wounds, cuts, stabs, shots | Skill is at medium power
Rank3: Major pain/ dying | Punchers origins, severed limbs | Power is at a high (Anthony can't focus and becomes reckless)
Rank4(Can not be reached): Dying | Lost every limb but alive | Max Power

Stats/Boosting
Boost rank depends on pain life level.
Unless at rank 3 all stats and resistance must be boost individually.
Because he's human like, certain ailments can instantly kill him. So at the beginning of battle he usually boost his
resistance and stats.

Healing boost: This will help his body regenerate, will not fully heal him, just keeps him up and running.
Hit/Evasion: Boost his awareness and reflexes to help him dodge attacks.
Defense: Chances of counter increase, damage taken is tone down.
Strength: Stamina increases, muscle strength increase
Even if stats are boosted, he can still be killed.

Resistance Boost
Element and ailments can instantly kill him unless resistance is boosted

Fire-Burned alive
Ice-Frozen
Lighting-Shocked, origin failure, burned alive,
Wind-Not sure how wind can kill.
Dark/Light-Mental State Degrade
If resistance is boosted, elements will not kill him but will still do great damage and get him close to dying.

"But hey! If he has every power, how come he can't just stop himself from dying or keep healing for the whole fight or use and op attack?"
you might be wondering?

Well, it's like a double edge sword. Heals him self, he'll survive longer but his power weakens plus thats more time he'll suffer through his wounds.
As for an insta kill attack he would have to be around rank 3 but at that point it's either heal him self and become weak
or do an attack that will win the fight and possibly die right after.

Anthony joins the new world.
"I know it's generic but I just wish life wasn't so ordinary."
Anthony was just and average 8th grader going through the motions of life. He wasn't anything or anyone special.
He flew under the radar. He wasn't anyone popular but he wasn't a person that got bullied.
Anthony was invisible like a ghost and quiet like a ninja clown. (Never heard of a ninja clown have you. duh)
The only time anyone would see him, is if they really tried or if he reviled him self. Some people couldn't see him even the looked him dead in the eyes.
"Everyone's got places to go and things to do, must be nice having friends."
Although he associated with many people in school, he didn't really have anyone he call a friend. It was hard for him to maintain a connection with others.
"Reality is boring."..."why did we have to move."..."I'm jealous of everyone."..."I want to make friends."...
"I wish girls liked me"..."I'm tired of school"..."I hate crying."..."Why am I so awkward"..
The sorrow of a youth, but looking back we all eventually grow out of this stage in due time.
Reality was, Anthony's life was just fine, he had his family, and although he may not have gone places with people from school,
everyone he met liked him even if he was awkward. There was just something about him that drew people in.
However, even he was blind to his own self.
If only he could have seen things in another perspective, would he have change his wish...

"I've always loved anime. The characters, the story, the adventures!"
Yes, ever since he was a small child watching Saturday cartoons, he wanted to be a adventure or hero that could slay monsters and save people.
He admire the fantasy realm and would often spend his day daydreaming about it. So when his opportunity came, he took it.

"What if I told you, I can take you to the world you've always dreamed of."
One day when Anthony was skipping class, he decided to walk home early. Along the way, something far out of the ordinary happened.
As he was walking past an ally, he saw a floating orb of light. "What's that?" as he goes closer to check it out.
"Wait a second...I'm not white. I'm not suppose to check out weird supernatural stuff." He thought as he stood there, starting to slowly back away.
"Ah so is that only a white person thing?" Was the orb speaking? Anthony thought he heard something but could it have really been the orb?
"You're name's Anthony right? It's about time you've noticed. I guess the yearning of your heart have been realized."
"Wait..what are you talking about?" he said.
"What if I told you, I can take you to the world you've always dreamed of? A world with adventure, excitement, monsters and hero."
"HUh?? Does a world like that even exist, for all I know you're just a demon in the form of an orb." He starts to step back, being more cautious of the orb
"Of course a world like that exist. It's actually the world I've come from in search of you. You're a creator and I'm a pawn sent to bring to a world that needs you.
Anthony approaches the light, "What do you mean I'm a creator? Creators and Pawns?"
"See in the world I'm from there are two types of people. Creators and pawns. Creators are people of this reality that can cross to different reality.
Everyone has a reason to be over there weather its because they wanted to or they just happen to stubble across realities. However most creators that go to my world
forget about the life they lived here in this world." "As for pawns, we're in a way like NPC's. We were born into that world and can only leave if a creator
helps us. This isn't to confusing is it?"
"I think I get it.", says Anthony
"I'll compare to an MMORPG, the people you might are either other Players or NPCs right? Well same rules apply in my world, however, most players don't know
they're in a different world. They either instantly forgot their past life or overtime their memories became fuzzy."
Anthony seems convinced by the orbs words.
"You may not be anything special in this world but you have a whole world of endless possibility where I'm from. I'm here to answer your hearts calling and
bring you back to my world. So what do you say?"
"hmm..so if I go, I'll forget everything and everyone in this world? What about my family though?"
"It's for the best that you not remember this world, that way any guilt of the bonds and ties you'll be breaking wont go with you."
"Oh, I see. I won't be able to comeback huh?"
"You have no power to do anything in this world but in mine you will.Things my seem harder there but you'll have the power to get through anything."
"Okay, I'll go!" says Anthony with tears in his eyes.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because...My mom, brother and sister need me...but this is my only shot to get to my dream world. So I have to take it...but it means I won't see them again.."
"Don't worry you'll forget soon enough. Now, step through the light. By the way, My name is Nori. I'll be meeting you on the other side."
"Who cares, I'll just be forgetting this anyway right?"
"Good point." says Nori "Now get on through."

Anthony crosses over and just like that his wish came true. He was in a new world, much different from his. His wish came true, but a what cost?


The first few years were his lost years, still going through the motions of a new life.

"So hows life going Anthony?" a young man stands in front of Anthony.
"Hmm? Do I know you?" says Anthony. "Oh, well, heh You do but I guess you need a memory refresher." the man reaches out and pokes Anthony on the forehead.
Anthony falls to the ground on his knees. "AAAHHHHHHHGG MY HEAD N CHEST! WHAT D-ID YO-" the ground under him begins to pulse. Anthony's hair and eyes begin
to turn white. He collapses spitting up, as he squirms on the ground in agony.
The guy begins to speak. "Don't you remember? I'm Nori. I'm the one who brought you here. All I'm doing is returning the thing I borrowed from you.
I borowed some of your life and memories to create a physical and mental body for my self."
With pain still coursing through Anthony's nerves, all he can do is lay there on the ground.
"Wow, that looks real painful. Oh well, I did it for you're own good."


"See the thing is, you're world wasn't boring, it was just you. You didn't have friends because you didn't bother to stay connected with anyone.
"You took the life you had for grant. I mean, it's not bad to want you're life to be more fulfilling or to purse your dreams. But that fact of the matter is
it's not the world that was wrong, it was you. Even in this world where you could literally do anything, you didn't purse anything. You might have join factions,
but you never really got to know your members did you? You joined collaborative teams but left for what reason? Board? Couldn't hang? Here you were given the world
you oh so wanted. The world where you were gonna be a "hero" yet you didn't do anything with it."

Nori...How do you know all of this?

I've been with you the whole time, I'm a personification of your mind an alternate you. I've just come back to teach you a lesson.
I had all of you're memories in me and managed to see you're life in the past world, and I have to say, it was pretty disappointing...

I know, that's why I wanted to leave.

Wrong! What was disappointing was how good your life was yet you wasted it. You had friends yet stayed all to your self and let those bonds break.
There were girls that like you, yet you were so blind to it that it feels cringe thinking how bad you messed up. Even worse, you left your family. You're
mom who needed you be there to keep everyone strong and your siblings. You're brother and sister, they looked up to you, and now what? They're just there looking
down on you know.

Looking down?

Anthony, you're dead in that world. Surprise, you didn't even ask questions before you came here. You just heard you can go to a new world and hopped right
in right?

I'm dead....
Yep, you're soul left your body to come be reborn here. You lost your memories of the world you came from but everyone one that knew you in that world remembers you.
Now you're dead. I think it's only fare you get your memories back. That pain you felt was all your sorrows, all of thir sorrows coming back. You're hair and
eyes turned white do to the pain you felt and will feel from now till you do. You can never go back to your world, so you'll life here from now on.

Nori, why?

It's a gift and a curse. You now have all the power in the entire universe maybe more, but you're weak like an ordinary person.
Your old memories will help you appreciate your new life, but it will also be a painful reminder of everything you gave up and missed out on.
This worlds a second chance to start over. You lived in this world how long already just going through the motions? Enough, it's time you've done something with
this, or are you just going to squander this life too.

That's alot to take in...but, I guess you're right. I don't have any friends or family in this world. I guess I'll go make some.

Actually, you got one family member in this world. heh, let's get going.


Anthony has lived in this new world for a total of 7 years.
During that time he's meet many new people and even learned new things about himself.
He's seen factions rise and fall,even factions he was part of would come and go.
He's seen mushrooms and pigs nearly destroy the world.
Now he's snapped to his senses and is taking his life in this new world that he dreamed of to the fullest.
