Oh, you are? Well, here goes nothing...
Craig is the son of Daku, a typical evil warlord with magical powers, and Hikari, the queen (and famed heroine) of the fair land of Artistica. He was born as a result of Daku kidnapping Hikari and knocking her up. However, Hikari was able to escape Daku's castle and make it back her own, where she gave birth to Craig and raised him. Craig lived a nice life and always looked up to his mother as a person, a ruler, and a fighter. However, worried that he would become his father, she forbid him to fight.
Daku didn't really care that Hikari escaped, but he apparently didn't find out about Craig's birth until 18 years after it happened (guess no one thought it would lead to anything). And when he did, he got furious. So furious that he and his troops marched into Artistica and destroyed everything. Everything, that is, except Craig and his mother's sword.
After barely escaping the carnage of everything he ever knew and loved, Craig was left in a mixture of despair, sadness, anger and hatred. From that point on, he disobeyed his now dead mother, took her sword and vowed to defeat his father so that he could not harm anyone else in the world.
Craig decided to find a place to stay and train to be able to take down Daku. He came across a small town with many fighters that were a lot similar to him. He settled in and even found some friends he can train and fight alongside with. He also entered the world swordfighter's tournament held in town when nagged to do it by his friends. We'll see how that goes...
"Personality"
Craig is an overall nice guy. He appreciates the company of others and always tries to do the right thing and protect others.
Keyword: TRIES
He is still a clumsy, not very bright loser who sometimes ends up accidentally saying or doing the wrong thing. He constantly has to rely on others, and some people get annoyed by his antics. He is also shy when it comes to talking to girls, especially if he develops a crush on them (not naming names).
I guess you could think of him as Yamcha with a sword.

Aquarius, or, as Craig calls it, "Aqua," is a legendary sword forged from a mysterious meteorite found somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea over 3000 years ago. A Mesopotamian blacksmith found a piece of the meteorite and forged it into a fine blade, adding some diamonds and emeralds for decoration. He named it Aquarius because he believed the meteorite was a gift from Ea, the water god, and the meteorite was rumored to have fallen from somewhere near Aquarius the constellation.
However, this was no ordinary meteorite this sword was forged from. The mysterious element from the meteorite, which scientists call "Auranium," was passed on to Aquarius, causing it to possess a powerful glowing blue aura. This aura increases the strength, speed, and durability of the user immensely when they are in trouble, making them near invincible. On top of that, due to its connection to water, it can create and control different forms of water. However, these powers only work if the user proves his or herself worthy. For especially gifted users, it can summon a giant water dragon spirit from within the sword named "Mizuchi" to fight for them. To this day, no one knows exactly what Auranium is or where it came from.
Since its creation, Aquarius has been used by many great warriors throughout history, including Craig's mother. It has traveled across multiple countries, been used in countless wars, and even slain a few mighty beasts. Fuego, who is said to be the strongest dragon to ever live, fell to a fearless knight wielding Aquarius.
When Craig's mother was killed in the destruction of Artistica, he took Aquarius as his own, despite knowing nothing about its past or its true power. Everyone in his hometown has kept it a secret from him for his entire life. Some people he meets on his journey know more about his own sword than he does. His journey will help him realize the true potential of his sword, as well as himself.
