It's ya boy

Hey my name is Sebastien.

I used to animate when i was a kid like 7-8 years back. I stopped because when I asked an animator I looked up to for some help and criticism basically just called me trash and told me to stop animating. That's exactly what I did. I stopped trying to animate and went back to drawing but kept watching animations from some of my favorite maple animators. Now I'm back wanting to give animating another shot. Basically just gonna restart everything from scratch since it's been so long and hopefully can make it a fun hobby.

Welcome to Maplemation. Sorry to hear you got off to a rough start, it's painful to hear that sort of thing from people you look up to. But times have changed, the forum is under substantial management, and we'd never let behavior like that slip by. Don't let anyone tell you what to do or what you can't have a passion for. We're all in this animation community together to help one another, guide others to improve, and create what we set our minds to. The fact that you're able to get back up after being knocked down shows how strong willed you are. Do what you enjoy, express your passion for it, and never be afraid to share your work with us. You'll go a long way.
