As a citizen of Kerning City, Kai was known to be one of the lesser bullies found within the area and would usually be found lurking in the alleyways mostly for hangouts. He was pretty much a lone wolf most of the time, terrifying citizens, picking fights, drinking, all of this only to pass the time when there was nothing to do. This routine had been going on for a while until one day he didn't make an appearance along the streets, the bar he goes to, not even the allyway, in fact he wasn't even in Kerning City at all.

His disappearance had spread around fast and the citizens had been relief from one bully and continues on to improve Kerning City's reputation until he showed up a month later with a new attitude and a weird energy surrounding him. Not one time had he bully anyone else after his arrival, however Kai has started to participate in the Maplestory Battle Royale not just to pick fights, but mostly to show his new potential power that he had gained mysteriously. There has been a rumor surrounding Kai that he had gain his newfound powers from one of the facility housed by the Black Wing long ago. Nothing else was said about Kai except that he manage to join a small organization that have their own hidden motives and all of them are competitors in the Maplestory Battle Royale.
