Ohey, another MMV MBR! That's great. Anyways,

SuperKimxD:
From the start of the video, I personally liked the transitions you made from 0:00 to 0:05, and I liked the general use of effects on there, along with the rigging. It's was pretty easy on the eyes, and flowed fairly well. Although once past the 5-second mark, the whole video started to seem a little bit meshed, and not in a good way. I didn't really like how you ended up using a crapton of visual effects as a means to extend the video a bit. For instance, the entirety of 0:11 to 0:14 was a spiral with planets going to the left, and your character having a glitching effect while going right, with the same thing happening again at 0:18 and onward with a few changes here and there. I understand the overarching plot..for the post part (Kim likes A, B, C, and wakes up from said dream...?) Though I think I could have been presented in a much more comprehensible fashion. I think you'd benefit from cutting down the use of visual and screen effects so we've been able to fully comprehend what the heck is going on. It kind of looks like you went off the deep end in order to make the animation look more flashy altogether when in reality, it looks like a mess on the surface. For instance, from 0:14 to 0:17, you used the same spiral from transitions, and a whole lot of screen effects that kind of blur out the actual raw animation. I understand the intent to make it pleasing to the eye, but since it been overdone, it actually can be hard to look at. Nevertheless, I did like how the overall animation did have a storyline...(Unless I'm mistaken, it's Kim liking and doing A, B, C, and then waking up)

I know you used Cinema 4D to animate this, but it seems like you can't render anything past 360p, and I still get why. It just ruins the quality of everything, maps, basic effects, zooms, and so forth. Anyways, the overarching problem with your animation is that there are quite a number of shots that have absolutely no movement in them, aside from camera pans. At the very start, from 0:00 to 0:08, it's been nothing but zooms, 2 frame differences, and shots that dragged on for about a second for no apparent reason. What I would do, at the very least, is either make them lipsync or do some sort of basic movement like walking, putting on the headgear, and making some sort of magical entrance into the fight. I'm the only person who probably understands this because you told me Anything to also help give context to what goes on in the next scene, which immediately transitions into some sort of Maple fight exchange. The same problems repeat themselves as you introduce new characters, not that much context before, aside from a basic pan towards the headgear. The transition to a randomly drawn sequence doesn't really help because it ruins the consistency that was going on with the other character introductions. I understand you were trying to make different styles, but it'd be much better if you stuck with 1, and if you really want to, keep 2 styles but make transitions of sorts so the styles can mesh well with each other. The zoomed in pans near the end, with a black screen didn't sit well with me, because it seemed rather blank and empty. A plain black background and the 2 character counterparts simply sitting there still on the screen leaves an empty and rather boring shot.
The fight itself is also having some problems, such as aligning between poses, keeping their feet on the ground, resizes, sliding, and having a shiny head right above your hand makes no sense, I'd suggest just studying other animations. Look at how their characters move. They slide after a certain distance, they all have a rule of gravity, they all make sure the sprites are the same size to maintain consistency, and so forth. It's difficult for me to say step by step how to fix these aside from watching others.
Overall, to me, this was too experimental for its own good. I get what you're going for, but the presentation could have been better. Try to aim for consistency and having well-comprehendible transitions, because I don't think anyone but me would understand what you were going for.

This kind of goes for both of your animations, and at this point, more of a preference than anything. The fonts that were picked out for these animations could have been better. In Kim's animation, there probably could have been a better, less incredibly formal font, and something more dynamic because of the atmosphere, and would complement what going on behind her. A cursive-like font may be nice. As for Martise, you should read this, this is important, and something that needs to be said.

Congratulations on both of you for finishing the deadlines, and, regardless of what I wrote (I don't think it was that harsh), both of you did a fantastic job making the deadline.

FREAKING THANKS! the Introduction animations was supposed to be hand drawn like I did for shanas but couldnt do to render problems but understood. I'm just experimenting really on how I should coordinate both graal and maplestory to make it look relatively nice for the series once again thanks I'll take a of that into consideration on my next animation
