[MBR] Min v. Shulkle

This is the first MBR in a while where it was both a close call and high in quality. I don't have an analysis to give since you both were pretty solid for the most part - as I'd expect from the Animation Team :^)
Though for Shulkle; the parallax looked goofy, like the backgrounds weren't tweening, some were going in opposite directions, etc.
Honestly after quite a bit of deliberation - I'm going for Min because of how energetic and rewatchable it was on top of being well animated. Congrats to both of you, I genuinely mean that!

Great work lads, both of you have noticeably improved your craft.

Min: Your portrayal of physics have improved, the attacks are more readable and the combos definitely feel more connected than your previous animations. You also seemed to deter from doing the quick skyrocketing dashes you used to do for more solid choreography which is working in your favor. Not much to point out from my part, good job.

Shulkle: I really like the co-op choreography you were going for like hopping on the top of the umbrella and opening the umbrella to disperse the flame attack, but the way you animate the characters makes the seemingly stronger attacks a bit lackluster, there are a few parts that can use some spacing out to sell the impact better (i.e the part when Faith stabs the ground and hits the penguins with a thunder strike or the part when the flame is dispersed). At a certain point the penguins start disappearing too quickly to be able to read the attacks or feel a physical struggle upon contact (like at 0:19 where your character pulls out his sword after stabbing the penguin where the latter almost immediately vanishes). Otherwise, your choreography has improved in terms of the actual combos, keep it up.

Vote goes to Min; both have nice ideas but the former had more satisfying attacks and felt more kinetic. Go beyond, AT squad. :thumbsup:

I voted for Shulkle because since the theme is 2 vs. Many and I thought the interactions between the two was clever and made it not only enjoyable to watch, but fit the theme.

@Min I liked your animation overall, though there was few points where Shulkle executed the theme better in terms of how well it starts and whatnot. You had better animation appearance overall but the sudden plot of the animation right to the point with no explanation of such, leaving to us to assume that they're just gonna fight with no reasoning behind as to why the monsters showed up in the city. Though, it was well done so if next time you do something like this again with better flow to the climax. I'd say that's pretty important.

@Shulkle As I was saying from above, you did pretty good overall. One thing you did better than Min was how you set it in with the situation where it feels natural as to why both of the character is in the area and fighting against the monsters. You still did great with the animation itself, It was just Min's animation looked better with the higher fps/speed when compared side by side. Don't worry, I'm still rooting for the GIF peeps.
