What Softwares would you recommend for voice recording and video editing?

Hi guys, I'm planning to set up a tarot youtube channel and I'm in need of looking for a good voice recording software and another for video editing, any suggestions are good especially if you have used them before! I'd prefer not using my android phone's voice recorder. It's the only option I have I guess. Something capable of running in windows hat can cancel the noise around me if I just plug in earphones? :l

I also don't have any equipment yet but i'd like to find something to start before the new year begins. Thanks in advance, I know google is a wonderful tool, but i'm just not able to understand all of these things.


i'm 21 yet not tech savy. I'm such a disgrace tbh...Technology just isn't my forte yet i've grown up with it and everything. Maybe it's just i'm not accustomed to hearing my recorded voice..i sound so low and boring....! :wtf:

Any suggestions will do, I don't care as long as it's free. Someone suggested Audacity to me, and adobe audition. Treat it as if it were voice acting for your animations, would you personally reccommend them?

No links of course in accordance to the rules, just names will do.

Voice: Audacity (free and very good)
Video: Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas
