Abaddon? Really, that's the best nickname you can come up with?

Age
21

Gender & Species
Male / Half-Demon

Height

6' / 183cm

Personality
- Intelligent, very analytical and strategic, due to being forced to survive in the wild on his own for a very long time & being privately educated later on
- Intimidating looking, naturally, but is actually quite gentle, & incredibly patient
- Keeps to himself as much as he can. Despite this, he does not mind conversation, or confrontation
- Emotionally stable, only upset over being targeted over racial intolerance, &/or prejudice
- Tries to be optimistic, no matter what the scenario
- Very intrigued by, & eager to learn new things
- Voice is fairly deep
(idk how to describe, think Aizawa from My Hero Academia's Dub)

Alignment (5x5)
Neutral Good

Strengths
- Incredible durability, tenacity, and endurance, and strength, due to demonic heritage vastly increasing density of muscle, and thickening his skin, alongside constant physical training
- Increased healing factor allows very minor wounds to mend quickly
- Ridiculously strong
- Has a large degree of pain suppression
- Incredible tactician, will notice flaws, and will be quick to think of ways to exploit them
- Largely unphased by
fire, explosive, and blunt damage
- Horns are nearly indestructible

Weaknesses
- Slow, not very capable of high speed combat
-
Ice, Water, and other cold elements and environments do extra well against him, and slow him down significantly
- Cutting, piercing, and other sharp objects bypass enhanced durability
- Has no effective medium-long range capabilities
- Has never used a weapon effectively
- Rather inexperienced at proper fighting

On a day many decades ago, a proud, and wealthy couple were enjoying their life, relishing their riches like there was no tomorrow, as they prepared to move into their new home, atop a secluded, forested hill. Little did they know, the house they had constructed was built on top of an old abandoned shrine, made to seal the demons of the mountains away.

One night, the shrine, too decayed, and far too old to withstand the demons, cracked. They poured out from the mountain soil like a river of ants, abominations of creatures of which the imagination could not comprehend freed from the sealed underworld gate that existed in the mountain. The creatures of the underworld engulfed the home, as the couple remained blissfully asleep, from a long night of discussion, and bonding. The demons were hasty, shredding everything in their path, cursing everything in sight, and just as quickly as they arrived, they crawled back into the earth, to let the house, decay, the riches intact, a trap to lure the greedy to their demise.

The man had his soul ripped away from his body, left to wander, in between dimensions, as a ghoul. The woman was abducted and cursed to bear the devils children, bound to hell for the rest of eternity, as one of many slaves for demonic reproduction.
And thus, Omit, conceived merely the night before, was cursed, as the woman was ripped of her humanity, and turned into a demon. Thus, was born Omit, a demon in the body of a human child.

He knew not his cursed entrance into the underworld, as he was to be immediately exiled, forced to survive on his own in the world of man.
The boy grew quickly, laying in the dust of the cave he was left in, horns cracking out of his head sharply, drove a numbing pain into the sides of his skull, but that was just the beginning, as for the next few days, his body would shift drastically, aging years in mere hours, the demonic presence inside of his body causing unforetold mutations to his genetic structure. The boy opened his eyes, a full week of torment having past, the only thought remaining in his mind clear as a bell; "Survive"
And thus, he did. Months in the wild, with nothing but his own wits to learn from.

Even with minimal interaction, humanity seemed to be more kin than the demons he all too often was associated with. He studied their villages quietly, in the brushes, day and night, gathering his thoughts, searching for clues to his own survival.
"Their success is unparalleled, but how?" The question echoed in his mind for days on end, as everyone he met was well kept, carried technology beyond his comprehension in their pockets, and lived in houses that looked like mansions in comparison to the boys small, mud layered cave.
Home was still home, so he returned to his night after night, waiting for an opportunity to arise.

A loud snap brought him back to his senses, the fire cried out through the small, empty cave, as its embers staved off the moonlit darkness.
Another snap bounced off the cave walls. The boy's eyes, still foggy, struggled to make out the couple huddled together near the other side of the fire.
They glanced between each other and stood up, their bags clinking together, breaking the silence. Their eyes betrayed nothing, as they paced out of the cave, no trace of their presence other than a pair of footprints at the entrance.
The night passed, and the fire burned out in a hurry.

The morning sunshine was blocked out by the same couple, waiting in the entrance. Omit watched them shift about, cautiously, as they stared back and yet said nothing. He decided to approach, tentatively. They quickly turned, and headed out, with a waving motion, beckoning him to follow. He blinked, confused, before pacing after them, still uncertain.
They were quiet. The shuffling of their bags made more noise than they did, as they communicated with simple gestures and eye contact.
Before long, they reached the edge of the village, a fence not much taller than the tops of his horns encompassed the small town. They began to walk alongside it, away from the front gate, eventually coming to a small gap, that they quickly squeezed through. Inside, the collection of human households was far greater than Omit had expected, the variation of color, shape, and size left him dizzy with questions.
This was the closest to a village he'd ever gotten, but he wasn’t given much freedom to look around. The couple herded him swiftly towards a nearby house, sheltering him from the view of any who were nearby.
This was how he was taken into, and taught about the world of man.

Weeks passed, he remained cooped up inside, being crammed with knowledge. The teachings were incredible, curiosity was always gnawing at him, drowning out the wall of impurity he was cursed with at birth, but this only made it worse, when the couple was found to be harboring a demon, considered humanities greatest enemy. he was dragged away, the foster parents crying out, silenced only by the death penalty, given for treason against humankind.

When he awoke, the once happy forest village was painted red, flames littered the trees, a river of blood had begun pooling at his feet, and the once lively village citizens were reduced to ashen corpses. His blood curdled, and his vision fogged, as he began to recognize the bodies of the innocent. The demons in his head were whispering for release, begging to take over, and rampage, to tear down the already ruined village, and ensure it is reduced to nothing. He fought for hours, curled in a ball on the ground, crying, screaming, arguing, silently in his own mind, the demons growing ever closer. “Don’t waste your time looking back for what you have lost. Move on, for life wasn’t meant to be traveled backward” echoed on, the favorite quote his caretakers shared. Begrudgingly, he pulled himself up, the voices in his head, silenced. He collapsed immediately, blood being violently coughed up, but refused to pass out, and give up on what was taught, so he stood back up, and tried to move forwards again.

"Try as I might, I cannot erase the curses that have been placed over me, but, there is no world in which that will become the reason I give up on my quest for survival."

Bonus props to @Emerald_Lord, Graceling, and @TheMarioMations as they all helped with brainstorming and little bits of info in one way or another!

CnC is a blessing!
Everything from ability suggestion, small grammatical fixes, to entire personality traits are welcome, as long as the delivery is proper and polite!

I feel he needs a few more abilities based on his human side e.g. his intellect. How about some kind of a counter, or out prediction move, using his knowledge and part of his demonic heritage?

I definitely like the idea, although I’m not entirely sure how I’d list that.
Maybe I’d have to make a separate list of attacks or something under a spoiler in the abilities section

Hey I'm glad you think that!
I wasn't too sure I did strengths and weaknesses in a proper way, honestly, I thought I didn't give him enough, so I may still add on to those parts, but hearing you say that it's good so far is a big plus.

ALSO, I'm going to definitely come up with a few smaller specific combat 'moves' / 'attacks', and use them as both animation practice, and fleshing out the character in combat so he's less of just "strong man hit hard", so, expect those in the future, ish, hopefully
