BIO:
DeeJay was born to an average family; his father owned a small pub while his mother sold hand-made goods and trinkets. He was very intelligent at a young age and managed to skip several grades, completing high school at age 14. At age 18, DeeJay graduated from a local college with a degree in business, making way to his dream of creating a small business to show his creative side. Alongside his lifelong friends, Mohawk and Mari, DeeJay launched a weapons and armor shop, named “Demomari” after the members, which quickly saw a huge surge of business through the intricate and fascinating designs of their crafts. They kept hard at work for about two years and a half before temporarily closing their doors for a well deserved vacation.
Through visiting New Leaf City, DeeJay and co. are caught in an attack involving the possessed Mushroom (y'all remember SMC3) which claims the lives of many civilians. Through trying to protect his friends, DeeJay loses his right eye and is left helpless to watch his friends killed in front of him. Before the rampaging Mushroom can finish him off, it’s efforts are thwarted by a mysterious group of individuals wearing black and white. DeeJay passes out from the blood loss before he can see the outcome of the battle.
DeeJay wakes in the hospital, where he’s been patched up as much as he could be, the doctors fixing his urgent physical wounds. He returns home to recover his remaining injuries, hurt by the reminders of his lost friends and ultimately closes Demomari. He returns to his family who welcomes him with open arms, though he’s suffering from serious mental scarring in the forms of nightmares and visions. At age 21, DeeJay ventures from home to do some soul searching, traveling many miles to venture eventually arrive at Akai Woods, where he walks the trails and mountains. Going several days without eating or drinking, DeeJay suffers a serious panic attack,which causes him to black out.
DeeJay wakes up in a small hut, where he’s being nursed by a woman of the woods: Galinia. Galinia has vast knowledge of spiritual herbs and medicines that can aid in the banishment of dark spirits. She informs DeeJay that he had a some residue of something chaotic latched onto him and had banished it, thoroughly cleaning his wounds and replacing his bandages. He thanks her for her kindness and is grateful, as he wouldn’t have known such an effect was cursing him. He asks to return the favor somehow, the woman declining, as it his only right to help those in need. DeeJay offers to trek to find herbs and plants that will aid her in her medicines. Eventually, Galinia offers DeeJay residence for as long as he desires, in order for his wounds to heal and his mental state to stabilize.
Days turn to months as the two have grown fond of each other. DeeJay no longer suffers from nightmares and has gained his composure back, having been boosted physically, spiritually and mentally. With the support of Galinia, the two use their knowledge to craft medicines and talismans to provide aid to those with ailments needing attention. DeeJay has also picked up weapons crafting once again, as well as treasure hunting till fill out his treasure collection. After being ‘swindled’ by a certain multicolored haired individual, DeeJay seeks out quests for weapons to find as many as he can.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
- Infinity Pockets - DeeJay can fit objects of any size and weight in his pockets and can pull them out at a moments notice. Works with any pants. DeeJay has access to any weapon from his Grand Collection, allowing him to spam weapons and objects.
- Pocket (B) - Villagers B-Special from Smash. Pockets any item or projectile thrown at him to use later. Can take it out and use it with significantly more power. Can stack infinitely.
- Hack n Slash Style - DeeJay can cycle through items quickly, be it weapons or objects, when performing a combo.
- Weapon Proficiency - As a weapons collector, DeeJay can grasp a weapon and figure out how to use it effectively after short use.
- Resistance/Counter - After being hit with an annoying ability several times (sneak attacks included), DeeJay will naturally counter/parry that ability (physical attacks) or take less and less damage from it (special attacks like fire, lightning, etc.). he'll have to get hit a lot though :T
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
- Hey, that's an X reference! - There are a few special attacks referenced from anime, video games, etc. Use as you will.
- HnS Rush - DeeJay will cycle through several of his weapons to deliver amazing and flashy blows to his opponent.
STRENGTHS:
**PROJECTILES - DeeJay specializes in throwing items. When pocketing an item or object (he can catch using the pocket ability), he can withdraw it and throw it back with immense power. The powered up weapon will start flashing and will remain that way until it hits a target. DeeJay is not immune this this however, hyper weapons can damage him just as effectively.
- BRAVE - Willing to take any challenge, no matter how difficult!
- Creative/Resourceful - Tries to find a use for anything he see’s around him.
- Durable - DeeJay is SURPRISINGLY thick skinned. He can take a few hard hits, as well as being crushed by comically large items.
- Meta-Learning - The ability to learn and master anything
- Enhanced senses - Though missing an eye, DeeJay has managed to enhance his senses and take in more information without relying solely on sight.
- Galinia - Her determination and belief keeps him going. He won’t go out without giving his all.
WEAKNESSES:
- Human sickness, illness, etc. - Is that a cough? Allergies? Rip!
- Fatal wounds - Gun shots, stabs, etc. He may act like it, but he’s not superman. He’ll need a doctor if critically injured.
- Galinia - if she’s ever put into harms way, DeeJay will give anything to ensure her safety.

BIO:
Light Seekers are a race of individuals who chase light and strive to rid the forces of darkness from the worlds, specializing in light based attacks and techniques. Their activity has been halted due to large scale wars between the different Light Seeker factions. Through these times of war and peril the Light Seekers had been dispersed throughout different universes, causing their races and factions to dwindle to low numbers. Durian Seek is the last of the Seek family; the remaining members were slain during the wars. Durian joined forces alongside members of the Ioi family, consisting of Shaun, Darius, Cole, Kale, and Trystan to protect their planet from dark entities; some of them consist of many evils that have threatened the Earth (Sai, Hollowed Mushroom, Invertor, Hageshii, etc).
Sometime during the alliance, the Light Seeker Kale had fallen into Darkness and went rogue, killing many Light Seekers from distant factions, growing ever stronger and more chaotic as he fed into his blood lust. To combat his spree of terror, the Ioi family and Durian faced Kale in a fierce power struggle. With Darius, Trystan, and Cole put out of commission, Shaun and Durian were left to fight Kale. As the stronger members of the team, the two were able to kill Kale; causing the darkness inside of him to become unstable and pose a threat to the universe if it was unleashed. The only solution was to absorb the darkness from Kale’s corpse inside of their bodies and perform a hard light purge, draining their energy but successfully exterminating the darkness. As Shaun is a more advanced Light Seeker expelling the darkness was simple for him, but Durian had encountered trouble and could not successfully expel Kale’s negative power. As a result, a bit of the dark Kale had latched himself onto Durian’s spirit and feeds off of his power. Through time Kale has grown stronger within Durian’s body, feeding off of any darkness Durian may feel. When Durian is at his lowest state, Kale will take over and finish any job Durian is handling. This will result in Durian becoming much more aggressive and fierce than before.
These days, Durian spends time constantly on the move to avoid feelings of darkness overtaking him. He has not successfully found a way to perfectly purge Kale’s being from his body, but he has been working on ways to figure out how to achieve the Light Seeker’s higher state of being: Awakening. Through a Light Seeker Awakening, Durian may be able to find the power he needs to finish Kale off for good and provide elevated aid to the planet he protects. To find a means of Awakening, Durian seeks strong fighters to grow in strength and power, hoping that one of those fighters will draw out the best in him.
FIGHTING STYLE:
Durian’s speed and accuracy plays into his fighting style very well. As he’s not too physically strong, Durian makes up with that by transitioning his attacks into swift combo’s that wear the opponent down quickly. He's pretty quick to dodge opponents who use weapons and tries to attack them from the back to let their guard down. Under his own power, Durian is respectful to casual opponents, avoiding killing blows and severe injuries; but when fighting more serious and malicious opponents, Durian will try a bit harder, aiming to disable their strengths and cripple their defenses as quickly as possible. When Kale is in control, Durian’s attacks are more relentless and he aims to make his opponent suffer in as many ways as he can. A Kale-Possessed Durian will draw out a fight to get his rocks off, going as far as banishing opponents into dark dimensions or upright killing them. Durian does not prefer to use weapons and will use hand to hand combat when able.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
- Light Gathering - Durian can feed off Light from any source within 100 feet, enhancing his strength, speed and power.
- Light Wave - Can unleashed power waves of light at an instant. Requires some time to power up, but the more light in the surrounding area, the stronger the attack.
- Teleportation - Easily moves from one spot on the map to the next. Can travel between lit areas from up to 20 feet around his body.
- Light Projection - A light projection of his physical body that cannot touch people or objects. Stays in display for as long as Durian needs, which shouldn't be too long as he's still using light based energy to project the image.
- Afterimage Strikes - Can unleash multiple swift attacks on an opponent, sometimes without even moving. With his linkage to light, making multiple swift attacks on an opponent is easy for Durian. These attacks, although swift, are not very strong but pack a punch with the speed that goes into them. When Durian is awakened, his attacks do significantly more damage.
- Physical Manipulation: In well it areas, Durian can lift items or people at will for about 2 to 3 seconds. He normally uses this to throw someone or something further away from him, or bring them closer.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
- Lightspeed Rush: In an instant, Durian can unleash a flurry of attacks against an opponent without them noticing. His body will not move, but light speed attacks of varying types with be unleashed on an opponent.
- Color Orbs: Durian can generate colored orbs of light based on an element of his choice. Durian can use up to three orbs at one given time.
- Red = Flames or Fire orb; acts as a fireball of some sorts and explodes on contact
- Blue = Water or Ice orb; freezes the opponent on contact
- Green = Nature or Life orb; unused.
- Yellow = Light orb; acts as a light source or can illuminate an area.
- Black = Darkness or Negative orb; used when controlled by Kale. The dark orb stuns the opponent and sends their mind through a hellish dimension for about 10 seconds, rendering their spirit broken. Black Orbs can only be used by themselves.
*Miracle Breaker: Durian unleashes a flurry of attacks and hits against his opponent, finishing them off with several Color Orbs.
**Color Dance EX: Durian throws color orbs in a collection where he stuns the opponent with each of their effects, unleashing a rainbow color burst of energy upon concluding his combo.
***Overbearing Pressure: [Kale Possessed] Durian will brutalize an opponent with many devastating attacks and immobilize them before banishing them into a dark dimension where they'll be assaulted from the inside. The mental state of weaker opponents are completely broken, which may render them incapacitated (can lead to death in extreme cases).
Weapons: They're in the sheet, but just for show. The weapons are a part of the Light Seeker vault, mostly utilized by the Ioi family. The Balrog’s Helios can be used to help channel Durian’s light based abilities. Durian also uses a Katana sometimes.
STRENGTHS:
- Immunity - Durian is Immune from human sicknesses and diseases.
- Light - Durian excels in well lit areas, allowing his powers to work more effectively
- Precise - As Durian’s aim in a fight is to wear down the opponent as quickly as possible, he can quickly spot an opponents weak points to constantly apply swift and powerful attacks to those locations. He accuracy with
- Strong Willed - Not easily influenced by others. Proves helpful in some cases. Not very useful when under Kales influence or trying to fight Darkness.
WEAKNESSES:
- Darkness/Kale’s Influence - Durian’s natural enemy is darkness; people who user darkness as their power or have a strong affinity with the element pose a natural challenge to him. Being infused with Kale only makes this weakness more relevant; the Darkness could overtake Durian much faster and cause Kale to become more active.
- Weapon Users - Weapons are harder to read for Durian, so users who utilize them have the upper hand. When fighting them, he tries to get to their blind spots, which may be harder for users who use long items like axes or pole arms.
- Ranged Fighters - Users who specialize in ranged attack users can prove difficult for Durian to deal with. Though he’s fast and can quickly close the distance between them, it may be a struggle to deal with any long distance tricks.
AWAKENING:
Light Seekers can awaken into a higher form of themselves, causing their eyes to shine a golden color. Their speed and strength increase dramatically. (The current light seeker can use the “**” awakenings):
**Omen - Light Seekers can awaken. Basic awakening shows when the Light Seekers eyes become a Golden Color, their speed and strength increase dramatically. The more light that's in the zone while awakened increases their power even more.
Sign - When true focus and concentration are put into awakening, Light Seekers can further awaken their power even more. The normal black attire becomes white and the their clothing colors invert themselves. Their speed and strength increase 50x that of their awakened state.
Mastered - Mastering the strain of Awakening will grant the Light Seeker immeasurable speed and power, as well as maximum concentration where they can travel through light almost seamlessly. This is the highest possible state a Light Seeker can obtain. The attire of the full awakening light seeker becomes all white with hints of black and gold in creases and folds.

Spritesheet status: Technically still unfinished, a good number of poses completed, but many of them are duplicates with slight changes. Quality over quantity I say. I'm too lazy to do much, but if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it well.
