"Soren"
Soren - Don't Fear the Reaper
Age: 17
Reference:
Body Traits - Blue hair, Gray eyes, Pale skin, Alert face
Wears - Blue wool coat over red shirt, blue jeans with a star near the ankles, black sneakers
Weapon - He uses mainly his fists and weapons formed of dark energy. He also has formed a pact with a dark spirit that, on occasion, attacks with a big ol' scythe.
Personality - Cheery, upbeat, flashy, cocky
Power - Wields dark magic that empowers his melee strikes and manipulates the positions of his foes, bringing them closer for a bigger beating. The dark spirit he has formed a pact with charges energy when Soren hits an enemy. Soren can then call upon that power for a massive sweeping scythe attack from the spirit, and the more hits he's accumulated, the stronger the attack is. His "ultimate" is a technique known as Shadowbringer. This attack consists of him calling upon the full might of the dark spirit to harvest the souls of his foes and absorb them temporarily while Soren himself unleashes a devastating combo attack fueled by the souls, before summoning a scythe of his own to finish off the attack. The soul is returned to the opponent if they survive, albeit somewhat weaker for a time.
History - A child who, despite being orphaned at a young age, learned to see the bright side of many situations... even death. When he reached age 13, he was reached out to by two spirits. One that would grant him powers of healing and light, and one that would let him facilitate death and darkness. Now, any normal cliché hero would've chosen the life spirit and become a healer. Not so much Soren. He understood that death and darkness were needed to complete the cycle of life, and so he rejected the Light in favor of a darker path. All the while, he remained at peace with himself and his actions.
"Farro"
Farro - Wish Upon a Fallen Star
Age: 20

Body Traits - Purple hair, Green eyes, Pale skin, Stern face
Wears - Blue and white hoodie with star details over black shirt, dark blue jeans with stars on the knees, blue sneakers
Weapon - A whip blade forged from a dying star's core. It allows him to strike at multiple ranges and acts as a focus for his cosmic magic.
Personality - Serious, emotional, protective, practical
Power - Farro's powers revolve around space and the many celestial objects within it. He can throw meteors, manipulate gravity to an extent, summon solar flares and fallen stars, etc etc. His "ultimate", a technique known as End of Matter, involves him summoning a very weak singularity to rip through the fabric of spacetime and heavily damage the foe(s).
History - The spirit of a star who died, but left a whole load of magic in its wake. The magic coalesced into Farro's present form, and gravity did the rest, pulling him to the world he knows today. He wandered aimlessly, never seeming to be able to find a home...
"Empathy"
Empathy - Fey-Touched Living Weapon
Age: 18

Body Traits - Blonde/Orange hair, Bright blue eyes, Slightly dark skin
Wears - White jacket with blue details over black shirt, black jean skirt with white striped socks, grey/black shoes, purple gloves with brass details
Weapon - Usually fights with her fists. However, if the going gets rough, she... uh... It's best I explain this in the Powers section.
Personality - Prankster, carefree, intuitive, slightly sadistic
Power - Empathy can morph her limbs into blades, spikes, and other nasty weapons and appendages. An example would be: She's up against Farro and has to defend from his blade in a split second. Boom, she can transform her arm into a crude shield. She doesn't exactly have an "ultimate", instead relying on her own intuition to rip through her foes. Oh, and Heat Actions. When she lands enough blows, Empathy can perform a special attack that depends on where she is in her surroundings. For example, she's up against Soren on a bridge and has landed some pretty good hits, but Soren's almost ready to call on the dark spirit. What does she do? She expends Heat to throw him off of the side of the bridge. It's pretty simple.
History - Empathy was not happy in the slightest in her earlier years. She wasn't even called Empathy back then. Thanks to her... rather weird power, Empathy's family didn't give a fuck about her, her grades in school could've been better, and she was just a sorry sight. So she ran off into the forests, unwittingly stepping into a fairy realm. She fared better there, even adopting a new name but when she came back to the normal world, it was as if she hadn't even been gone for a day. She had aged, sure, but the rest of the world hadn't. She never returned to her family, still holding a grudge against them despite her newfound cheer.
