An Audio Issue In My HP Laptop!

Hello friends, I own one HP Pavilion 14 11th Gen Intel Core i5 laptop. I recently bought a Home Theater. But when I tried to connect it to a laptop and play music, the sound comes from the laptop speakers instead of from the home theater. I am unable to understand why this is happening. Has anyone encountered such a problem? I am utterly confused. Someone help me to solve this problem.

I have resolved the issue by using the classic control panel to select speaker option from there with a little help of this article. Thank you,
