New Years Resolution 2023

Heya, Hunter here. 8)
Wanted to make a thread for anybody that wants to post their resolution(s) for the upcoming year of 2023!

I'll start with mine!

"2023 Resolution!"

In order to not get too over myself this year

• Being more productive with my hobbies of drawing and whatnot
  
• Finding better job
  
• Travel and meet with people
  
• Helping out with more collabs/projects (maaaaaybeeeee)
  
• Learn how to cook more
  

What's yours? It can be anything you want to work towards this year, big or small!

Okay, I'll start with my new years resolution:

• Go to therapy (for real)
  
• Go out and do things
  
• Eating healthy foods (No more junk foods for me)
  
• Learn more things to live independently
  
• Focus on doing artwork because it keeps me calm and happy
  
• [B]Finds something to make my brain stop bothering me[/B]
  

Happy new years and wish the best of luck for me.

• Lose enough weight so my BMI would at least be below 25.
  
• Be more healthy mentally.
  
• Find/Get a job
  
• Learn 3D and After Effects.
  
• Become an actual Gacha-game animator or variety animator.
  
• Build an actual Portfolio website.
  
• Do and find more freelance work.
  
• Do more work that pertains to what I studied at University.
  
• Better my relationships with people.
  
• Convince Neil enough to finish Iza vs. Dark Horus.
  

. Try to have a normal year throughout, since 2022 started off pretty damn rough for me
. Try to get an interview so that I could learn more about the workspace I guess
. Catch up on my backlog
. Host something big outside of Maple Limitless I guess

Less than half an hour for me. After thinking about it for a while, I don't think I have any new year's resolutions. Accomplishing the goals that i set out for myself are already in progress. I did have reminders of a few lessons though, that i've learned over the years - as a result of shit things happening to me, and dealing with shit people in places like work and elsewhere.

I may not control the things that happen, or what others do, but I control how I respond.

I have to remind myself that if there are many things out of my control, then the only thing I can be certain of is that I am in control of my mind. It's all that I have - and if I don't have control of it, then life will just blow me around like the wind.

I've also started using social media a lot less, because seeing the stuff that people post on twitter would make me really upset. I always have the urge to want to give my two cents knowing that i'd get caught in the cross fire, but then I end up not doing so. I don't have to have an opinion on everything, nor do i need to share it.

I'm also always trying my best to see the good in people, because even though I'm really not liking the way society is turning out, I try my best to not contribute negatively to it in any way, with the things I say or do/put out there.

Another important lesson that I've learned, and probably one of the most important one of all is gratitude. Every day, I'm grateful to be alive. Even though there are periods of consistent suffering, I'm grateful that I've been given another day, another chance to chase my dreams and make myself a better man than yesterday, for the people that I love. I'm truly, truly grateful that I will be making it to see 2023.
