Hey everyone!
Long time digital artist here. I've been meaning to get into maple story sprite/pixel animation for a while now. Recently just downloaded Animate CC, some sprite sheets, and sound effects. Everything has been pretty fun to do so far, and I've been getting immensely inspired watching YouTube animations from Maplemation for a while. Looking forward to learning from you all!

Hey, Awesome that you’re getting into Maple Story animation. If you’re new to Animate CC try starting with a simple walk cycle – it’s trickier than it seems but a good first step. Quick tip- stick to shorter animations at first, easier to get the details right. Good luck! :-)

It’s great to hear you’re diving into MapleStory sprite and pixel animation! Animate CC is a solid choice for this kind of work. To get started, consider the following tips:
1. Understand Sprite Sheets: Familiarize yourself with how sprite sheets work, including frame rates and timing. This will help in creating smooth animations.
2. Use References: Since you’re inspired by Maplemation, try analyzing their animations to understand their techniques, like easing, character movement, and effects.
3. Community Resources: Engage with online communities, such as forums or Discord groups, where you can share your work, get feedback, and learn from others.
4. Practice Regularly: The more you practice, the better you’ll get. Set small projects for yourself to keep improving.
