I listen to Sound Horizon, the guys who were also involved in Attack on Titan OP's (Linked Horizon). Their other not known stuff is really relaxing and beautiful. Like 黒き女将の宿、Yield, or the collab Revo did with Yuki Kajiura - Dream Port.

The song in the animation. I'll have to listen to it on loop for the next month, or until the animation is done.

^ I guess, it's due to the fact that it aids in helping you focus more on your work. Personally, I just like some form of noise in the background; when it's with people talking, I don't have much to pay attention except the subject at hand.

While full productivity I listen either to JRock (As in Anime OP's) or EDM. If it's relax productivity I'll listen to let's plays or podcasts.

I think I can't really listen to anything while being productive, I think it just ruins my train of though alot of the times cause I always catch myself mixing in the lyrics in my words.

Are instrumentals no good too?

^I prefer instrumental when it comes to songs whenever I animate. It gives me room to think of its choreography.

I visit a playlist of instrumental pop songs but I just end up checking how the guy plays it lmao. I feel like I can't listen to instrumentals - I frequent Ghibli soundtracks but I just end up wanting to watch the other movies where other soundtracks do appear and/or I wait for the most memorable part to appear ):
