Interesting, it seems I am the only one against extensions, haha. I think that if I worked exceedingly hard to finish something before a deadline (which is always the case for my MBRs) and my opponent didn't, it is not my fault if I am not merciful to them for being lazy. If they have a legitimate excuse though, I would definitely give an extension. I would expect the same treatment from anyone I MBR as well, meaning if I was lazy I would not accept an extension unless there was a reason.
