Open up your character's BSProj in Bannedstory (if you don't have a BSProj saved, just recreate your character and the save it) then select your character, then go to Layer in the top section, then click Explode Layer, then in the top right corner you'll see all you character's parts...
...Click the eye next to the parts you don't want, then when you're ready to save a body part as a PNG (which is what i do), you go to File, then Save PNG, then Whole Scene. Then you reopen the BSProj, and just repeat the cycle for the rest of the body parts.
I usually explode layers in bannedstory, and if I need a specific body part that can't be obtained by that feature, I just edit the part that I do not need.
