I honestly couldn't resist. A Hat In Time's protagonist is beyond adorable. Spoiler: Actual Size Spoiler: 4x Size I even uploaded a video of the whole thing just now. Check it out! ------
Great work. One issue i want to point out is your banding. It‘s easy to avoid and makes your work look much cleaner. Basically: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/83/10/73/8310732b49541b0cb203cbbc874bed24.jpg Couldn‘t find a better picture to explain it, but you basically shaded by making another line on top of the outline in some places, like the face and hair. When you leave some pixels out, our eyes can make us see a smooth connection. You might have heard of anti alias, it‘s similiar and knowing how it works will help you avoid banding. Another thing is the color of your outlines. When you do colored outlines, make sure they go well with the rest of palette. It‘s good on the clothes, but too dark on the skin and hair.
I understand. I'm aware of anti-aliasing, though I'm very much used to doing everything using black outlines. So I wanted to try coloring the outlines instead. The critique is appreciated, thank you!
