I can tell that that is a gun because the texturing and shapes are clean enough to make it obvious. Your shapes aren't clean or symmetrical or anything. The previous gun was much cleaner so it was easier to tell that it was a gun. The sketch material could've used more shading but it was still more obviously a gun.

What are you talking about?! Now I know you have no idea what you are talking about. The previous gun textures were just smeared everywhere. There was no texturing any uvs or anything. I literally smeared everything!

The way that is shaded is called a sketch material. Yes, the wooden part does have a texture.
And finally, if it had no uv's then it wouldn't have texturing at all.
