Finalized 3D Dagger, with better textures http://fav.me/d9q58q7

You seem like you could use some more practice on your texturing and sculpting. Look at those nasty polys. Yuck.
Amdragg Feb 04, 2016 4:37 PM
Yeah, it kinda looks like its really crooked, but that's purposeful. Not supposed to look very realistic.
Collin Feb 04, 2016 4:54 PM
I wasn't referring to the bent hendle. I was referring to how it looks like you made this in about 5 minutes. The poly count is obviously way too low and the textures look like a 5-year-old's art skills. Did you even use any normals or reflection channels? And why are the slits in the blade all different shapes? They should be the same shape and size.

I get that it's not supposed to look realistic but at least make it look like you put some effort into it.

This looks like it was made in 5 minutes, it actually took 2 days http://fav.me/d9avd2l

The finalized one took a week. I'm sorry that I could not meet your standards.

the shape is good but it still look rough.
As for the texture it looked painted.
Amdragg Nov 08, 2015 4:26 PM
Yeah, I guess the textures could use some work. But as far as the looks of them go, they aren't supposed to be very high res. They are supposed to look like a gamecube game or something from the PS2.

that 3D model looks nice
Amdragg Nov 07, 2015 5:20 PM
Thanks. I was trying to make it look like those Toon Link Legend of Zelda games.

Anyone know how to use Blender?
Collin Oct 30, 2015 3:31 PM

>smh
Amdragg Oct 30, 2015 4:21 PM
Does that mean you know how to use it?
Taki Oct 30, 2015 10:19 PM
There are plenty of good tutorials that explain everything step by step, asking for someone who can just use it won't help you much. There is no easy way to learn it. Youtube blender tutorials.

I really was just asking if there was anyone who was familiar with it. I was going to ask to review a file I was working on and to tell me what I could do. Particularly regarding weight painting on my rig.
