Hey everyone! For those don't really know me, my name is Miles; and I'm the new leader of OMΣN. After Meechie stepped down, I took the challenge to run this faction again, and hopefully I can keep it alive and well! Since I've been around before this forum started; I'm what the cool kids call an oldfag. I'm a pretty relaxed guy, so don't be afraid to introduce yourself.

Hi guys. Name's Drew, the last first gen Omen fighter standing. I've been around the community since February 2014, and I've seet the place change time and time again. A prime example being the phases factions like these are going through, and I'm proud to say I'm taking the backup leader position for whenever the need arises. If I could say anything about me as a person, I am an AE animator in training, and have always fancied the more "cinematic" approach when it comes to my work. I like to think I'm a friendly, approachable guy, ready to offer a helping hand. I'm definitely anticipating the future of this faction, and I'll be looking forward to what's to come, and I hope all of you will, too~

Why do you want to join us?
Honestly, on the same boat as Ainn, and not much else aside from the, "I wanna git gud n maek my famery proud." Helping out newcomers, or even socializing/introducing them to the community has been a nice experience, and I think it's great to be in such a faction that aims to revitalize said community.

Dan, you've been a member for quite some time in Omen. Your animations are entertaining; creative, and downright funny at times. A 3/3 on the leader's vote:

Shulkle, You've been a pretty friendly and outgoing guy; helping on other people and the like with whatever troubles they have, I haven't gotten to know you, but the others vouch that you're a pretty cool guy and have improved a FUCK TON in animation standpoints.

Hey everyone. We're here with a few updates for you all~

So, with the very first faction collab released on Halloween, we're proud to have it as our primary debut for what this faction has to offer.
A short heads up as to what's in store next: The faction will be divided into 3 (possibly 4) separate groups amongst the fighters, and each group will collaborate to create an "Introduction" themed animation. No deadline is set, nor has it started just yet, but when the green light is given, there will be either an edit on this post, or a new post about it.

Back at it again with another update for you all. So, with the holidays coming up, and w/ another collab under contemplation ever since the Halloween one. We're proud to announce the 2 factions Horizon and Omen have agreed to come together to work on a Christmas special this year! We'll be looking forward to that when the time comes, and we hope you all will be, too.
In other news, Hatim will be changing his role to a Supporter, due to irl problems and too much schoolwork. Best of luck to him.

Time for the 3rd monthly update!

As far as collabs go, we've decided for the month, there will not be a new collab, for 2 reasons. 1. Half of the Omen members will have their hands full with Redux (an animating group associated with AnimationRewind), and 2. We want to avoid over-saturating the faction and MM w/ collabs. We will return with a new collab at a later date, which you will all be kept posted on. In other news, @JPGOfficialHD will be taking an official hiatus from Omen, due to the amount of work from college and ScrewAttack alike he is going through. Good luck to him. On a more positive note, after Ainn's bizarre absence, he's officially returned a couple days ago, after finally regaining his internet. He is now an official member again. Welcome back, @Ainn One final note, is the addition of our new supporter, @Kaffeine Welcome!

To begin for this month, We've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is, PeaceTheAOD will be stepping down from his fighter position, but will be staying as a supporter. The good news is, we've got yet another collab in the making, and Horizon will be taking part yet again. Pertaining to the current month, the collab will be Valentine based. However, the collab may or may not be released in time for the actual holiday. Some loose ends still need tying down. In any case, we'll see you all then!

That being said, let's talk about the collab first; To be perfectly frank, the number of participants from the start wasn't very high to begin with. That turn of events mostly stemmed from most of our members having projects of their own, and other forms of work holding them back (view the fighter's status for more details). Only a select few were able to take part, but it wasn't necessarily enough for a full-on collaboration. To make a long story short, the collab that was intended for Valentine's Day, may or may not come to be, after all. However, those who did participate may possibly release what they have completed. That course of action resides in their decision. On a more positive note, as stated by Miles above, we've got not 1, not 2, but 3 new members of the crew: @Shinn, @Pizzaman432, and @Delacroix. A warm welcome to each of them! :clap:
This amount of constraining outside work for Omen won't last long. We'll be back with more plans soon. See you in the next update!

Yet another update from your friendly neighborhood Omen faction!

It's been quite an eventful time frame. To begin, there's been a change in the leader roster; unfortunately @Blez has stepped down from her Omen Leader 3.0 position due to personal circumstances. The good news is, she will staying in the faction as a fighter. On top of that, @Delacroix will be taking Blez's place, and will be joining the leader circle. A warm welcome to the guy (y). Regarding faction activity, you can bet our members have been productive, especially with the number of MBRs some of our members have taken up lately. Not to mention, we plan to take on more in the future (more on that later). Collab activity may be on continued hold, with the amount of personal projects, and as I've previously mentioned, more plans for MBRs are around the corner. Be sure to look forward to it, and we'll see you next month with another update!

Hello again, and apologies for this being a day late!

So, let's start with yet another change in the Omen roster. Unfortunately, Blez had to take her leave once more, but now this means Omen has one free spot, and is open for grabs! That aside, our restraining factors regarding group activity for the faction should nearly be over. No promises, but I can safely say we should be ready sometime soon for some group work. We'll be sure to keep you all updated on that. For now, there'll mainly be individual/MBR work from us for the time being. But it's especially great to see a new faction come into play. You never know... things might get interesting soon. :eyes:
