I haven't animated anything in a loooooooooong while.
so this looks pretty rough atm and that's because i kinda left it in pause.
rn i'm fully working on my new spritesheet. It's been unlisted for awhile and
i just wanted to share it ♡.Go ahead and CNC i'm rusty asf and need it
I'll absolutely finish this for sure.
(and yes the tatsumaki senpukyaku looks very off )

I liked watching this :D I like your character design and music choice.
I'd suggest revising your English and grammar for the thought bubbles. If you'd like help doing so, I'd be happy to provide it!
The character selection at the beginning threw me off a bit. I understood that it was selecting a character, but there was no way (that I could see) to tell which character the player was hovering over until it had been selected. Maybe you could highlight the character before it's selected, or something?

I feel like maple chat clouds are kinda out of fashion, most use just normal flash texts with some shitty glow color.
The pace is kinda too slow for a lightning user, i thought it's a bit flashier, sue me doe. The floating text doesen't look fluid, it looks choppy.
Why do i cnc again.
I enjoyed this though, it was original for some reason.

Yeah i kinda had the clouds as a placeholder, It did feel too bland for me also.

YUP, No doubt about it! Basically what i did here is that I animated the idea i had then i was going to go back to polish it up...i didn't do that part... I'm gonna fix it up tho, Honestly some of the things i noticed irked me.

For some reason the animation really feels original, i like it. With about 2 months of practice you will be more than good to go!

A few improvements in pacing and direction would've helped this become something very original and engaging.
Personally, I would get rid of the text descriptions of all the abilities entirely - showing is better than telling in cinematic language. 0:24 to 0:28 was pretty sweet, but still too slow to create any sense of engaging physicality.
Everything afterwards just becomes ability exposition. Again, show > tell D: (if you're gonna tell though, don't do it with chat bubbles lol)
The canted camera angle was a nice touch of stylistic aesthetic, but it lingers on for too long. It would be more effective to have it only show up once in a while when cutting to a strong ability or some other kind of pivotal moment in the action.
