getting back to animating and need some help.

hey guys i used to animate a back when bannedstory 4 was a thing but it seems it dosent exist anymore.
so i got a couple of questions.
1.how do people make character to animate this days?
2.where do people get skills/monsters and etc sprites.
3.what program is good to animate with this days?(one that supports multi layers and such)
4. if there is a small relevant known guide to all this i would like to get a link to it.
5. if anyone wants to share their sprite sheet with me that would be awsome.

1. https://maplestory.design/ is the new site people use ever since Bannedstory went down.
2. http://maplemation.com/forums/resources.25/ plenty of stuff to use here. If you're looking for skills specifically then http://maplemation.com/threads/dfo-effects.35800/ & http://maplemation.com/threads/kayas-resource-junkyard.34233/ are a great place to find them.
3. I mostly see people animate with different versions of Flash like 8, CS6, or Animate CC. If you're looking into GIF animating, then probably Fireworks or Photoshop?
4. The only existing tutorial that I can think of is the one that spritefan2 made a while back.

sadly i still cant find a proper flash program so it might take some time :surprised:
