Hello everyone! I'm Candy, the resident flash animator of Project Revival! Unlike the rest of The Harmonious Group, I started out on the "fight animation" side of the community in 2013, although I never made anything worth watching due to my extreme inactivity. It wasn't until 2017, when I joined Dollhouse Studio that I really started actively animating- this time, MMVs. To accommodate for the new type content I was making, I started learning After Effects and I've found that I really enjoy it. I still do most of my character movement in flash, but everything else has moved to AE. What's Project Revival, you might ask? It started out as a channel where @Pepsi101Loser @nugget @Faiyzor @Correstry and myself were to post a collaboration story of sorts, but due to the name, we eventually expanded and started uploading biweekly tutorials and various collaborations we make. A certain MMV collab we're hosting garnered the attention of many animators who don't usually make MMVs, creating new friendships (and more, wink wink...) between people who normally wouldn't have ever have crossed paths. Shoutout to the The Harmonious Group! @Pepsi101Loser @Correstry @nugget @AsehxualMango @Faiyzor
He's cool? Lol, Hi Candy! I'm a huge fan, please add me and be my friend! If you have any questions, talk to me and I'll be happy to help~
I should be more careful. Wouldn't want the cool mod to ban me! Is that Noz?! Oh my gosh, I'm like, your biggest fan! I followed you, please follow me back! I'm like, right behind you! Big Smiles. Thanks Dez!
I've bumped into your channel a few times and I'm pretty glad to meet you. Everyone else, all aboard the hype train.
It's strange how the Maple animating community isn't really dead, but dispersed into smaller groups or individuals that don't know of each other. I was completely unaware of a group called Project Revival until 30 seconds ago LOL Anyway, welcome back to MM! Looking forward to seeing your work :)
It's a pleasure to meet you as well! I've definitely seen your channel before as well; it's extremely well-managed! I don't believe it's dead, but it's definitely less lively than it used to be. As for Project Revival, being similar to that of an "MMV studio," I wouldn't expect many people to know of it, especially those outside of the MMV community. I definitely knew about you, though! Thank you for the warm welcome!
