Community Guide to Hosting a Collab.

I feel this will help. Maybe an Admin can clean and pin this somewhere if it works out.

Lately I've been thinking about hosting a collab just to have the experience under my belt. That being said,
I've read Dereks 2cents but I feel there's more that needs to be said.

He covered Idea, Community view, and commitment. However there are things not covered like:

Using flash and Gifs in the same collab.
Using 24-30 fps in same anim, yes/no.
Putting all parts together.
Should each part have their own music?

Stuff like that.
Ya know a guide of tips, motivation, helpful experience.
Personally I think a guide is useful for the sake of newbies who want to host but don't know where to begin and vets who need tips and a begging them self.
So I'll start.

The closes thing to hosting I've done was manage a small group called Maplicity and A temporary faction during a tournament.
What I can say is, know your battles. Know when to quit and know when to keep going.
If you have 5 out of original 20 participants, don't give up. Yall could make the collab your self.
Also be prepared to have people quit on you. It might be stressful but don't let it demotivate you.
