Whats goin' on Maplemation!

My names David and/or Minh, as some of you may remember me already. A slight re-introduction of myself - I'm a self-taught photographer and cinematographer! I'm trying to amp and crush my Instagram and YouTube game. So I wanted to introduce anyone interested in these fields to just that!

For credibility, here is some of my work, keep in mind that yes I'm constantly learning still and I have a lot to work on, plus I do not have the highest end gear, but I have the best that I can afford at the moment.

First of all lets start with my YouTube channel, my YouTube channel is filled with content meant to help people advance their knowledge and learn those things that they never knew before. This includes the tiny things that are involved with improving the content of your films or photos, all the way to the actual techniques that are required to do something, or a tutorial on how to do it! I upload weekly, twice a week, but am trying to implement a third video every week, seeing how that goes. There are certain dates that are best to upload, and a certain consistency that you need to upload at! These are the types of things you can learn on my channel to help improve your growth as well.

I want to thank you for all your time, I've been absent from this Maplemation community for a while now, but I wanted to come back and share this with you guys! I know that film and photo spark a lot of interest in a lot of people, so I wanted to leave this gate open for you guys. DAMN THAT 4K RESOLUTION THO :ok_hand: Sharp as hell. GH5 is probably one of the best DSLRs out there on the market for affordable cameras currently, so you definitely got that in terms of 'highest end gears'. And you got a gimbal?! Boyyy, you already got it goin' on. :thumbs_up: *sadly stares at my outdated GH3*

Anyway, you got some good stuff! I can definitely see your channel getting bigger with the useful tutorials and you getting more clients. Hope you continue to grow! And hey, thanks for not forgetting your roots! xD

Yeah haha, been working hard and saving up LOADS of money! Working towards a 1DX II right now, I'm a hoarder I have so much stuff that I barely use but could probably end up buying a 1DX if I sold it all!

I've studied cinematography in classes but haven't had nearly enough hands-on experience or gear knowledge to consider myself a DP. Your work, however, looks VERY impressive!

I'm a self-taught editor and aspiring filmmaker graduating from USC this May, and could always use more crew mates for future independent films and collaborations. Hmu if you're near LA, maybe we can chill and/or trade favors sometime xD

Lmaoooo maybe! I haven't been to Cali before, but we'll see!

If you don't get hands-on experience from school go and do it for yourself! It takes practice haha. I personally don't want to go to school for it for that reason.
